As Israel’s four-day truce with Hamas came into effect in Gaza on Friday morning, thousands of people who had fled to areas near Gaza’s border with Egypt were seeking to return to their villages with children and pets in their arms and their belongings loaded onto donkey carts or car roofs.
Overnight Thursday-Friday, Hamas urged Gazans to return to the north of the Strip, where the IDF has focused its ground offensive for the past three weeks. The truce deal, under which the Gaza-governing Hamas terror group is set to free 50 Israeli hostages over four days from Friday, bars Gazans from returning to the north of the Strip.

But the good guys are.
By allowing the "pause" for hostages, the shelling has stopped which gives credence to Hamas when they encourage folks to return north - probably telling them the whole shmeal is over.
Now the IDF has to shoot around those folks to continue the campaign.
The pause is stupid. Those who worry about the current set of hostages need to be reminded that by actually dealing with this effectively, we prevent future hostages from being taken.

They still have to get around Israeli lines...or be let through.
So Hamas has already violated terms of the truce by encouraging Gazans to go back north. Surprise.
Suckers.
The US forced the Jews to do this and it will have a bad result.
In my best Gomer Pyle accent, surprise, surprise, surprise.
They’re going back willingly to be human shields since 80 to 90 percent of them support Hamas’ jihad ops against Jews and Israel.
Not unlike Lucy with the football. Also not unlike the frog who agreed to help the scorpion cross the river by allowing him to ride on his back after the scorpion convinced him he would not sting him, observing that if the scorpion did so, both would drown. Midway across, the scorpion stings the frog. “Why would you do this?! Now we will both die!!!” “It’s my nature.” We know how these people operate. Any policy decision that relies upon them operating differently is flawed at its premise.
Hamas wants more human shields.
any decent honest people will not try to move into a war zone
anybody attempting it (after having been warned a thousand times again, even as recently as today with tens of thousands of leaflets and 24/7 radio and social media warnings)... is a Hamas terrorist and will be martyring himself for their fake “cause” ... as far as I am concerned, the more of these evil agents of Satan that are returned to Jahannam (Moslem HELL), and the faster... the better for the whole world.
Yep. At some point, Israel just needs to say, “Well, we gave you ‘civilians’ every chance to leave. If you’re there now, it must mean you want to be there when we do what we said we were going to, so here goes. Enjoy!”
agreed!
there’s never been any other army that sacrifices its own safety and success so greatly in order to save the lives of its enemies and other people in the war zone
all this excessive Israeli humanitarian concern is getting ridiculous. The IDF is not supposed to be a welfare benefits agency for its enemies and especially not for terrorists like Hamas, PLO-Abbas-Fatah, and Hezballah. It is an insane policy that needs to be ended. Pronto.
Nah, Israel is smart. During this cease fire Israel gets to watch which rats scatter to where. In other words, they get to see who is left alive and then follow them to their hiding places.
This cease fire will HELP Israel kill more terrorist leaders.
Now they can die if they live in a Hamas structure
They're waiting for Gazans to move back north, then scream like little girls when Israel resumes operations, saying there are too many "civilians" in the area.
None of them will blame hamas for making people move back north.
1. Denounce Hamas as unreliable negotiating participant.
( big surprise)
2. Notify the intermediary that the terms of the humanitarian pause have been breeched by Hamas’ attempt to expand them unilaterally.
3. No further releases of Palestinians until the terms are restored.
4. Halt other humanitarian measures (restoration of water, electrical power, medical supplies, etc.
5. Resume and intensify military operations in north and south Gaza.
FTA: “The truce deal, under which the Gaza-governing Hamas terror group is set to free 50 Israeli hostages over four days from Friday, bars Gazans from returning to the north of the Strip.”
Unsurprisingly, the muzz broke the deal before the ink even dried.
Hamas must have been running low on shields...
