Voters across the country headed to the polls Tuesday to weigh in on a slew of statewide and local elections that could serve as a bellwether for next year’s congressional and White House races.

Virginia Democrats have gained full control of both of the state’s legislature bodies, dealing a major blow to Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s agenda in a race seen as an indicator of Democrats’ strength heading into 2024.

so GLAD we left the now wretched state of Virginia. Such tax hogs ...they even stuck us with a $2000 fee on the sale of our home due a “congestion tax.”

I knew it was turning more purple by the day. Bring in your illegals — your Californians, transplants from New York and all up the east coast...they’re all gonna tank the place in due time.

Democrats outspent Republicans 3 to 1 in VA. Why?

********************

This trend has been going on for awhile. So much for Republicans being the party of money.
I started noticing it with the Slick Willie Presidency and then it really took off with Obama.

Urbanization and globalization has been very good financially for the democrat coalition. At the same time, the environmental industry and their lawyers have butchered the finances of the rural areas. Areas that already lacked capital investments were given even more hurdles to overcome to produce prosperity.

The good news is urbanization and globalization peaked 10-15 years ago. It’ll be nearly impossible to create that amount of wealth with demographics headed lower and the way the labor supply is being wasted on nonsensical employment.

I'd imagine it was so they could win. Meanwhile, this would be an excellent question for Ronna McDaniel and the RNC: "Democrats outspent Republicans 3 to 1 in VA. Why?"

What exactly is the RNC saving its funds for?

You’re correct.

Immigration - of all kinds - is the one, the real problem.

The Rats aborted themselves into a minority and they figured out that was happening about 30 years ago. That’s when they did a 180 on illegal immigration. Before that, they were the main opposition to mass immigration.

They knew that they had to import a support base, or be submerged by the people who have children, and lots of them.

They don’t have the support of the Americans. They know it.

But ninety percent of Freepers are ready to march on to the next election like a battered wife with a new shiner. They believe in that broken system to the end. Courts and elections, ooh rah.

It was one thing. The Dims said the Republicans were going to outlaw abortion..

That was the whole election..

More precisely it is THEIR God and RELIGION. They are “Radical Islamists” in how they approach elections and voting.

Conservatives are more balanced and less political. The PASSION is all LEFT.

It’s been obvious for along time.
When we do elect Republicans they just get compromised and beaten down by the DC establishment and bureaucracies.

Why even have a Republican Party if all the institutions that matter are run by democrats?

Every Republican leaning state has to get the abortion issue settled before the 2024 election, if there is any chance of winning.
