Netflix’s Nyad star Annette Bening has spoken out in favor of sex change procedures for children, claiming that parents who allow such procedures simply want “what is best” for their child.
Annette Bening, who has a transgender “son,” spoke over the weekend at a fundraiser in Los Angeles for The Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network– or GLSEN, an LGBTQ youth organization that in recent years has been actively promoting transgenderism in children.
During the event, Bening told a story about a friend with a transgender child who until recently lived in Texas, but who decided to move to California, according to a report of the event from The Hollywood Reporter.

A slight correction: where you say gay and transgender, just substitute “screwed-up”. Because that’s all this nonsense is, they are boys or girls, males or females, XY or XX - - all other descriptions are just substitutes for “mentally ill”.

The parents/politicians shift responsibility to the “experts.” And the usually faceless, nameless and unaccountable experts just slither in the shadows. Cowards all.
Fortunately, detransitioning adults are sueing parents, advocates, and medical experts to make them be accountable.
The next step is to do a better job of screening the candidates who will have the sovereign power in their hands, so that we actually pick persons of character, that is, good character.
Make these troubled kids wait until they’re 18 to mutilate themselves. Then it’s their call-away from their parents. Then when they kill themselves someone else gets to clean up the mess.
