The US House of Representatives on Wednesday overwhelmingly approved a resolution expressing support for Israel in its war against Hamas.
The resolution, titled “Standing with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists”, passed by a majority of 412 to 10.
Nine of the ten “no” votes were by Democrats: Reps. Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, Andre Carson, Al Green, Summer Lee, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Delia Ramirez and Rashida Tlaib.
The lone Republican no vote was from Rep. Thomas Massie.
The resolution states that the House of Representatives “stands with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists, reaffirms Israel’s right to self-defense and condemns Hamas’ brutal war against Israel.”

more like "in support of war" , so the war monger military industrial complex gets it's war it has been itching for, Ukraine never really got much traction, other than as a used tank and artillary dump

Only forever war brings peace.
They just can’t get past their roots can they. So much for loyal Americans.
Notice that there was no resolution supporting defending the US border from foreign invaders.
Congress thinks they work for foreigners.
1) It calls for sanctions on a sovereign country. Sanctions are a prelude to war and hurt the citizens of the country more than the government of the country that’s being sanctioned.
2) It asserts the necessity of foreign aid commitments which I have voted against.
3) It contains an open-ended promise of military support.
4) It tends to broaden the conflict to other countries.
How about the southern ‘border’?
That’s where their grift comes from.
We could have built the southern border wall 5 times over just with Ukraine funding.
I sure do love getting raped economically from Jan-Mar in taxation to foment foreign wars while addressing nothing at home.
The best thing I did in life was serve in the military. I wouldn’t even think of joining now.

You are correct that this 75-year long war will end when someone achieves victory.
I understand very well why the Arabs have not achieved victory.
But the very prolonged failure of Israel to achieve victory makes me think it may be beyond their capacity.
Well, the "donor community" certainly is to a degree borderless.
But unlike the US in Nam and A’stan the Israelis can’t just pick up theit stuff and go home.
Wars defend freedom democracy.
Without war, freedom democracy dies.
The more wars you have, the more freedom democracy you have.
Israel wins by not losing.
