Speaker Dade Phelan Removes Ken Paxton from the House Chamber
While access to the floor of the House is limited while the chamber is in session, statewide officials and former members of the Texas House—of which Paxton is both—are regularly granted access.
As the House debated legislation to tamp down on illegal border crossings, House Speaker Dade Phelan ordered that Attorney General Ken Paxton be kicked out of the chamber.
The event was first reported by State Rep. Steve Toth (R–The Woodlands) in a video posted to X, and confirmed to Texas Scorecard by Paxton’s office and other lawmakers who were present.
“Dade Phelan is doubling down on stupid,” said Toth. “We had Ken Paxton over in the House today to say hello and to look at legislation that we’re moving through the House and Dade Phelan actually sent the sergeant at arms to kick the attorney general out of the Texas House.”

How does he even get away with that! Someone needs to kick Speaker Phelan out of Texas!
I’d love to see Paxton win the backstabbing John Cornyn’s senate seat.
I’d love to see Phelan get his azz handed to him just like McCarthy experienced yesterday then kick his sorry, no count azz out of Texas. His kind don’t belong here.

Indeed! A little known secret about the way the Texas house works, is that a RINO is almost always elected because democrats and other RINOs like it that way, so they vote for them I’d love to see Paxton win the backstabbing John Cornyn’s senate seat.
I've love that as well. I have never voted for that scumbag. I'll vote Libertarian before him.
Is he a CA transplant? How did Texans ever come up with such scum for a Speaker?
Because it only takes a few RINOs along with all the Democrats to elect a RINO as Speaker.
Phelan is in it for himself and not the people of Texas.
book marked
We need him right where he is. He can contribute more doing exactly what he is doing.
We must save Texas first and then deal with saving the Nation. If we are destroyed internally, we will not be able to fight the DC battle.
Phelan must be removed as speaker. Period. And soon.
When things don’t make sense, follow the Money.
Thanks for link
Great moment of power shift.
Control of House hinged upon this. And that may be the leverage point to save our nation.
thanks for the post
“I’d love to see Paxton win the backstabbing John Cornyn’s senate seat.”
So would I.
Thanks for pinging out the posse :-)
Texans....
This article/site explains the 14 Amendments ... not sure who they are, but, the descriptions of each amendment, along with what a FOR or AGAINST vote means, seem unbiased ....
I’d love to see Paxton win the backstabbing John Cornyn’s senate seat.
THAT would be glorious.
After Paxton continue kicking DC/DS @$$ a bit longer, that is.
