The US is a terrible ally. Israel should be responding to this attack, but we are trying to hold them back.
The whole 47 minute video put out by the IDF should be shown on every college campus and made mandatory viewing. The whole world needs to see this just like the films and pictures of the liberation of the concentration camps.

I dont condone mass murder and genocide but it’s how the Mongols relatively easily smashed Islamic power in the 13th century then amazingly held on to their conquered territories. Every nation including the USA has found conquering Islamic areas easier than holding them; GB, SU, USA, France, China on and on.
The problem is the Islamic population , it’s resistance partly due to their religion it seems. It Makes for fanatical and persistent guerrilla fighters.
The Mongols solution was to kill 75% to 90% (!) of the inhabitants, keeping just enough to maintain a rudimentary infrastructure and pay tax.
The Mongols were beastly but they did not deal with continual strife and re-emerging warfare every 5 years either.

I think all of the people on this thread should = send their sons and daughters to fight WWIII on behalf of Israel.
I view Israel in the same light I view tourists in Yellowstone who walk up to grizzlies.
They are dealing with 80 IQ savages, steeped in a backward and violent religion. What do they expect to happen?
I don’t care what they do to them and I don’t care what happens in retaliation for what they do them.
Israel has no “right to exist” any more than Donbass, Ukraine, USSR, Northern Ireland or the state of Jefferson in northern California.
They are not our ally. They have spied on the US for years. They funded and managed Jeffrey Epstein. They have instigated us to fight their wars for them and destroy our young men for the past 40 years.
They are not a Democracy. They are an apartheid state which holds 2M people in an outdoor prison.
Because their methods of killing civilians is less barbaric (yet more prolific) than Hamas doesn’t make it any less terrible.
In this situation, you are not forced to pick a side between evil Hamas and evil Israel. You can instead pick the US and your countrymen and your neighbors and our servicemen.
