NEWS: Former Trump lawyer Sidney Powell is pleading guilty in the Georgia election subversion case, one day before her trial was scheduled to begin.
He only hires the BEST PEOPLE after all.
There’s a long list... There’s issues too on abortion, spending, vaccines, etc. that would shred any other person by FR. With all that said, and undeniable, I still think he’s the only guy for the time.

Reliable?
It’s XiNN.
Note: Sidney Powell leads guilty on six MISDEMEANOR charges in Georgia’s racketeering law for which she will receive probation. Hard to turn down a plea deal like that.

Dang it! Pleads; not leads!!!!!
So this is actually not so bad for Trump?
Sounds like Prosecution knows it doesn’t have a good case and is wounding as much as it can.
Death by a thousand PAPERcuts.
If you were an attorney (and perhaps you are), would you want a client who keeps making your job much harder than it should be?
This is becoming a farce.
Joe Biden was elected by 306 Electors, appointed by various State Legislatures, including those of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Arizona.
Their certificates of ascertainment were transmitted to the Seat of Government of the United States. They were opened and counted. There were no competing certificates to be reconciled.
No State Legislature objected. No State Legislature even convened to discuss objections.
And, in three of the States (at least), Republican majorities were replaced at the next election with Democrats.
Issues about “voting” are properly addressed by State Legislatures who have SOLE AUTHORITY over this process.
There’s nothing more to discuss, and courts have no role to play. Voters want to hear about the future. When I was a kid, Harold Stassen was a punchline, and we are heading in that direction.
The prosecution case is unsound on the law. Trump ought to be vindicated at trial or on appeal. If so, Powell can then ask to vacate her plea and conviction on the basis that if Trump violated no law, then neither did she.
What does THAT mean? She's already admitted her guilt and as a condition of her plea bargain she will have to testify AGAINST Trump and the other co-conspirators.
I agree.
Only the Truth under oath right? So if she testifies does it amount to an actual conspiracy?
Is there evidence of soborning false testimony here? What if the testimony she provides amounts to nothing burger?
In exchange she agreed to testify against Trump and all the other codefendants.
US legal system is one of the worst on the planet. Right down there with Russia, China, NK.
One reason why US has fallen and will keep falling on the freedom index"
This country is dead.
The Constitution means nothing.
Lying, cheating, criminal scumbags run this place.
It's a third world, corruption riddled joke.
