Gaetz is the only one who will be defeated in a primary.

LOL You obviously don't have a clue what the hell you are talking about. Gaetz is loved in Florida and is a MAGA hero. You rino's are done.

Grow up and face facts. There aren't 100 conservatives in the House. There may not be 50. The GOP is not a vehicle to advance conservatism, if it ever was. Right now, it's dead and the body is still twitching on the floor of the House, but it needs a decent burial so we can get on with forming an opposition party with the ability to take power and use it for good.

100%. the only political hope was for Trump to take over the party with true MAGA people. But the swamp is doing what it always does...they co-opted the movement. Many Republicans says they support MAGA and Trump but the reality is much different when it comes to actual action. As long as they can get enough boobs to vote for an R because they're "better" than a D then the longer the shell game continues.

There is a party for you. It is not the GOP. It is the Democrat Party. You want to be centerist wing of the Democrats, go join their party. Do not demand, as your are doing, everyone in the GOP change to accommodate you.

The Grand Old Uniparty enjoying what they’re doing — deliberately and selfishly so — to our Republic.

Bacon can’t get anything for his district if voted out in the general. It went +6.5% Biden in 2022.

Before primarying Bacon, I’d primary that Quisling Gaetz, who struck a deal with the Squad to remove the GOP Speaker in violation of the GOP Caucus rules. Gaetz moved to remove McCarthy because, after a GOP budget resolution supported by over 90% of Republicans failed to pass the House, he sent a 45-day CR to the floor that was supported by over 58% of Republican members and needed Democrat votes to pass; Gaetz’s motion was supported by only 4% of Republican members (which, if my math serves right, is a hell of a lot less than 58% of GOP members), and it passed only because Gaetz courted Democrat votes and got Jeffries to order his caucus to vote with Gaetz. And now we have no Speaker, and thus no way to have the House do anything at all. Surely the Florida Panhandle can find an actual conservative Republican to represent it in Congress instead of that whinny, camera-hogging prima donna with more teeth than IQ points.

I Always vote for the most conservative candidates.

Bacon is in a Biden +5 district

Is that how the district voted in 2020 or a poll?

Actually you are to the Left of Karl Rove. He actually want the GOP to accomplish thing, not be the Democrats Lite party.

Here is how the game is played in DC. The US House GOP is told “oh you have to only pass bills that the Senate will vote for and the White House will sign”.

The result is the House GOP consistently passes hard Left Democrats Legislation to “get things done”. The Democrat get all the political benefits while the GOP gets all the blame from the voters. This game has got to stop being played by the GOP. This is a chance to do that.

So rather then digging in their heals because their egos are hurt, the GOPE needs to “hold their nose” and vote for Jordan for the good of the party. Same way the Conservative wing has been told for decades they need to vote for RINO candidate after RINO candidate “for the good of the party”

“Matt’s daddy” Don was one of the first Florida GOP leaders to endorse Jeb! for president in 2015: https://www.politico.com/story/2015/11/dynasties-thrive-on-campaign-staffs-215801
How much pull does Don Gaetz have today?

So you a political irrelevant wasting your vote because your ego is more important to you then actually accomplishing anything politically.

You really need to spend some time learning how politics works in a Constitutional Republic

This debacle is Gaetz's legacy.

Chaos for the sake of chaos is no strategy.

But maybe Gaetz had reasons for what he did that have not fully matured

someone not even in the House now.

Zeldin? Not as good as Jordan -- a 71 Liberty Score (c), but vastly preferable to McCarthy and his 54 (F) or Scalise's 58 (F.)
