Former President Donald Trump holds a nearly double-digit lead over President Joe Biden in a hypothetical head-to-head presidential race in Pennsylvania, according to an Emerson College poll.

The poll, published on Wednesday, shows that 45 percent of registered voters in the Quaker State back Trump, placing him 9 points ahead of Biden at 36 percent. Eleven percent of voters would back another candidate, and eight percent are undecided. Notably, 43 percent of respondents voted for Biden in 2020, while 42 percent supported Trump.

Trump has a very strong lead among independents, taking 44 percent of the response to Biden’s 14 percent. Another 42 percent of the demographic are either undecided or would vote for someone else.

Biden’s approval rating in Pennsylvania is deep underwater. Just 31 percent of registered voters give him positive marks, while 51 percent disapprove, giving him a net rating of -20. Another 18 percent have neutral feelings or do not have an opinion about the president.

The poll asked Trump supporters if they could “think of anything that Donald Trump could do or say in the next several months that would make [them] choose not to support him for president in 2024?”

Exactly half of Trump supporters said there is nothing he could do or say to make them change their minds, while 22 percent said yes, and 28 percent were unsure.

Emerson asked the same of Biden voters, finding that 53 percent will stick with him no matter what he does or says. Conversely, just 17 percent say there is something he “could do

Biden won’t be the nominee come Election Day. Prediction: Biden will conveniently die shortly after the convention where he received the nomination. Then “The Party” will appoint their nominee. The Party is not the least bit Democratic despite their constant protestations about everyone else not being Democratic. The idiots at the RNC will be blindsided by the appointment because they are truly unprepared and incompetent in everything they do.

That’ll be tough for the cheaters to explain.

And tgey won’t have anything like everyone hates Trump Donchya know to go by. It’ll be another year of bad effects of -invasion, giving Iran money, giving ukr MONEY, living paycheck to paycheck, losing property, college grads and their parent suddenly needing to absorb another huge chunk in this terrrrible Biden economy, people - my people- wondering why they have Covid 3 times and now their elderly parents for whom they got the shots and boosters have Covid, Biden admin pushed that

That 9 pt spread will grow to teens. At least

Gonna be hard to explain a democrat cheat/win there.

Well. That’s the way this whole thing is going

Gonna be tough to explain a win

That could happen, that we go through all the Democrat primaries and caucuses, with Joe virtually unopposed.

And at the convention, almost all delegates would be pledged to Biden. But then if Biden withdrew or forced out at that point, all those convention delegates become free agents.

And that could set the stage, for the powers that be to install a Gavin Newsom or other favored candidate.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the dnc plans on throwing the election on purpose since they know the economy is on the verge of total collapse, the wars over seas will never end and we probably will have a terrorist attack because of the open borders
Better let Trump take the blame

I have a feeling Trump will not be the nominee as well... The establishment will do whatever they need to do to ensure such...

IMHO

I sure hope Fetterman gives plenty of stump speeches in support of the Biden-Harris ticket.

Which is why Kennedy announced his candidacy there. Notice he didn’t announce in California, New York, New Jersey, Oregon or another Rat stronghold. He is there ace in the whole and the “right wing” media is helping him along.

Trump’s lead and rating with independents is what’s got RFK Jr running. He’s colluding with Democrats to cut into that lead - whatever sense he’s talking is BS.

The DNC has 2024 problems far more ominous than Biden’s incapacity.

Things are going very wrong in every area of domestic and foreign policy, and whichever Democrat they nominate will have to somehow convince the voters that it’s not the fault of Democrat policies.

The trouble is, that os exactly what is causing this multi front disaster - and the public is sizing up to it.

Things are looking so bad for Democrats that even massive election fraud,, a weaponized DOJ, and a bought and paid for media may not be enough to save them.

Ever let it be said that we don’t live in interesting times.

I am afraid that you may be correct. With Covid-24 being hyped in the media it only a matter of time until the left gets mail-in balloting established as the only voting method allowed in swing states. The next D candidate can do what Cho Bi Dung did ... campaign from their pool-side lounger knowing that whatever the vote count is for the R candidate is, the D count will be 8-10% larger.

The fix is in ... now and unless some extreme measures are taken regarding who is actually running this country, forever.

"Two credible polls were released today showing Trump with 7 and 9 point leads in the critical swing states of Michigan and Pennsylvania"

No Republican in my lifetime has come close to these numbers"

"Credible" is an awfully funny way to spell "outlier". Looks like Emerson is the new Rasmussen or Trafalgar that we're going to cling to like a life raft; the new guys who, for now, are going to say what we want to hear, like those other companies once-upon-a-time did.

However if you're an adult (more than 35 years old), then a Republican presidential candidate HAS come close to those numbers in your lifetime in Pennsylvania and Michigan.

But PA and MI are hardly the same states they were then, demographically or politically -- they're both much farther to the left (and that's even before considering Democrat fraud), in case you slept through the 2022 elections and don't know how they turned out.

Are the vast amount of suburban soccer mommies and other idiots in the Philly suburbs and Oakland County (MI) -- the ones who more than anyone else CAUSED that leftward lurch -- running back towards the center because they suddenly abhor Biden and the Rats? Riiiight. We can be certain it isn't because they like Trump or Republicans.

So this poll has a bit of an odor to it, along with some other Emerson polls lately, and it would be nice to see some corroboration before we declare victory.

In their dreams. THe aborts in both Dem and Republican parties will not allow a republican to win a national election here.

Not even close to being enough to overcome the fraud factor. PA just announced that everyone applying for a driver's license will be automatically registered to vote. I assume that also means non license IDs. One needn't prove citizenship when applying in PA.

And PA will surely be mailing ballots to all registered voters.

So we'll have 500,000 (or more) wetbacks voting in PA next year.

IOW...DJT doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell in PA.

I’m sure the vote fraud machine is firing up - as it did in 2020, they’ll use the same tactics.

Pennsylvania is a hotbed of vote fraud.

More late night fake ballots and related shenanigans needed in Philadelphia?>>> Sorry but the Philly corruption is large but the deciding factors are now the suburbs which will outperform for the dem due to abortion being the top issue. both republican and democrat and now the democrat vote counters there can materialize more votes/counts for the democrat with enough to cancel the rest of the state. focus on philly and you lose. That is now the voting/counting pattern.

Mail in balloting will negate that lead.
