Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh says that the issue of prisoner exchanges will only be tackled after the end of the war.
In a statement, the terror group leader says that “parties that have contacted us” offering mediation for a hostage release through a prisoner swap have been informed of the decision.
Haniyeh also praises Gazans’ endurance and willingness to sacrifice themselves for the Palestinian cause, and says that the “destruction” currently carried out by the Israeli army in Gaza in retaliation strikes is a reflection of the “shame of its defeat.”

That said, if this happened under PDJT’s watch, it would be raining in Gaza by now. Hard.
Yes and yes.
$3.50 a loaf?!! You have bread that cheap! It’s up to $9 around here!
The Israeli government may not have free reign to do whatever it wants under those circumstances.

Fine. Then let the US or whoever send in Special Ops forces to get them out.
Oops. Can’t do that. Biden is cutting funding to Special Ops.
I hope by the time the war is over there is not one member of Hamas still alive.
Hamas knows the only leverage they have is the hostages. However, Israel decided long ago that negotiating for hostages only leads to the taking of more hostages. I am glad it’s not my decision to make.
Note however that from news reports and online information, it looks like the Israelis are making it “rain” pretty hard by themselves.
Empty words since there won't be much left intact in the gaza strip after being
pummeled and excavated by the Israeli army
haniyeh also praises gazans’ endurance and willingness to sacrifice themselves.."
I have to wonder how many dead gazans agree with this walking sphincter.
I am torn over the “American” hostage situation. More than likely they also have Israeli citizenship, in fact there are citizens from tens of countries that have been either killed or held hostage that have dual citizenship with Israel.
A little late to play the “victim” pig fat boys...
Amen!
They killed 900+ Israeli’s... And the Israeli’s have apparently hunted down and killed 1300 Palestinian terrorist within their territory... And for those still hiding... Prepare to die.
My guess is quite a lot.
I’m fine with that, because it allows Israel to kill all of the captors, then kill all Hamas fighters in their control.
1. “Israel should bulldoze Gaza into the sea and/or turn it into glass.”
2. “This is a matter of national interest for the U.S. because Hamas has prisoners who are U.S. citizens.”
You can’t have it both ways. Either Israel ignores the concerns of other governments about their own citizens and destroys Gaza, or it makes its own actions subject to the oversight of those governments.
Hamas shouldn’t exist after the war
Probably someone from the Biden regime doing the asking
For they have sown the wind. Check.
They shall reap the whirlwind. In progress.
This is not a war. It is a response to a terrorist action against a nation state. As such, the Israel military should kill as many Hamas terrorists as possible. Those that surrender should be given field trials in accordance with the Geneva Conventions, convicted of terrorist activities and being illegal combatants under the Geneva Conventions, and executed under the Geneva Conventions. The Israels need to ensure that they find all the terrorist and kill them in battle or by the judicial means open to them.
I’ve seen a few reports of Americans pleading for something to be done regarding loved ones and family members who are held hostage by terrorists.
My heart goes out to them. I too would be calling on the US to take any and all necessary actions.
But the cold hard reality of the situation.....
What can be done? Re-enact the failed hostage rescue that Carter did?
You would be right ——
-— had you ended your sentence with the word “killed”
