Hillary Clinton: ‘I don’t understand any American siding with Putin’

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D) said Tuesday she doesn’t “understand” Americans who support Russian President Vladimir Putin in his war against Ukraine.

“I don’t understand any American siding with Putin, but we’ve seen it and we’ve heard it and we have to fight against it,” Clinton said in an interview with PBS NewsHour’s Geoff Bennett.

Clinton was asked by Bennett about a “growing” divide in American politics over funding and support for Ukraine in their fight against Russia and how she thinks the Russian leader views it. She said she thinks Putin is “thrilled” about this divide.

An inability or unwillingness to understand opinions that differ from one’s own is generally a bad thing.

And this ‘siding with Putin’ theme discounts the reality that President Putin’s viewpoint is shared by many Russians (perhaps even the vast majority of them but who knows for sure). Russia is not a one man band. Shrillary and the Uniparty Neocons disagree not just with Mr Putin but with the policies of the Russian Federation. This penchant for painting other nations as mindless robots in thrall to all-powerful super villains (Putin, Saddam, Assad, Khadaffi, Milosevic…) is juvenile and counter-productive.

Final point: Americans are not required take sides in foreign disputes. Choosing to do so or not is personal choice.

>>I’d take Vlad over Hillary any day.<<

I was thinking the same identical thing. Given a CHOICE between the two of them . . . Vlad wins!

She doesn’t understand it because there is SO much more opportunity for graft, theft and bribery/blackmailing to be had with Mr. T Shirt Z.

The Clintons NEVER do anything that doesn’t involve money to them for basically nothing and/or acquiring power sane people would not give them, period.

WHAT IS INACTION?

Inaction by an ally during an attack on another ally by a foreign common enemy implies a conscious decision to abstain from taking a side or providing assistance.

Such inaction can be perceived as tacit approval or support for the foreign power’s actions, indirectly endorsing their aggression.

It can create doubt and uncertainty among the attacked ally’s leaders, making them question the reliability of their supposed ally.

Inaction can send a message to the aggressor that their actions will not face opposition or consequences, potentially emboldening further aggression.

It may lead to the weakening of the attacked ally’s defenses, as they anticipated support from their ally and did not adequately prepare for a solo defense.

The perception of betrayal or abandonment by an ally can strain diplomatic relations and trust between the two nations.

Inaction can have economic consequences, as trade and economic partnerships may be disrupted due to the loss of trust and cooperation.

It can erode the credibility of the inaction-prone ally on the global stage, making it appear unreliable and unpredictable.

The attacked ally may seek alternative alliances or partnerships, potentially realigning its geopolitical interests away from the inaction-prone ally.

Ultimately, inaction by an ally can reshape the geopolitical landscape, with long-term implications for regional stability and global power dynamics.

What if the Zelensky government in Kiev is a bunch of child-trafficing nazi-sympathizing globalist crooks? Why are we defending that?

Its not Putty we should be worrying about. It happens to be our very own congress, senate, POTUS, DOJ, CIA, NSA, FBI, ect..ect. Ukraine is a S-hole country that is willing to do what ever to get free money. The above mentioned bodies of ours likes money also. That combined makes a bad brew for the people who are footing the bill, meaning us.

Make no doubts about it, even churches are in on the gig. If there is money to be handed out they all have that hand out.

Until we finally lay the foot down and say no more this will escalate till there is no US left.

“Inaction by an ally during an attack on another ally by a foreign common enemy implies a conscious decision to abstain from taking a side or providing assistance.”

Who’s the enemy? The country we were squeezing by constantly expanding NATO right to their borders, despite having promised the opposite? Or the country that was shoveling MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to the Biden?

Nice try, but WE ARE NEUTRAL in this war - because we have no alliances with EITHER country. When we openly support giving Billions to Russia, feel free to call us ‘Putin Stooges’ or whatever crap you guys need to use to feel good.

‘I don’t understand any American siding with Putin’

I’m confused Hillary, how much of our Uranium production did you transfer to Putin?

Apparently you sided with him, until you didn’t.

“Is it reasonably or even remotely possible that Putin or anyone else COULD reassemble the old Soviet Union now?”

No, but the Neocon Cheerleaders are trying to convince us it’s possible.

“And is there a constituency of citizens over there large enough to really support such efforts to do so?”

The LAST THING Russia wants is to rule over hostile people, which is why it hasn’t claimed any non-Russian-speaking regions in Ukraine, although the Neocons may force them into occupying some of them. (similar to Israel being forced to occupy Southern Lebanon for a number of years)

“Is there any perceived benefit for the average Russian Joe to live under a Soviet Union vs what they have now?”

No, ruling over hostile people means doing so by brute force, which is why the Soviet Union was as repressive as it was*, especially when compared to Russia. It is VERY COSTLY to do such and stunts the development of the country.

*same for Canada today, by the way
