American truckers have issued a warning about the Biden administration's plans to reduce air pollution by cracking down on heavy-duty vehicle emissions, saying that President Biden's proposed policies will crush the supply chain and put the American food supply at risk.
Under the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which aims to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides and other pollutants by enacting stringent new regulations on heavy-duty vehicles and machinery, businesses will be subjected to unattainable standards which will result in high inflation and put trucking companies out of business, American trucking officials warn.
Mike Kucharski, vice president and co-owner of JKC Trucking, told Fox News that the Biden administration's proposal will reportedly push small business trucking companies out of business, which amount to 95 percent of the industry. He warned that the EPA regulations will restrict transportation capacity nationwide, and result in severe price inflation "worse than we have right now," which will be passed on to consumers.

Better stock up now folks. Winter is going to be a bear. Diesel will be in short supply.
All for a hoax.
These EPA A-holes fart out these ridiculous regulations with no thought about how they will affect the real world. The EPA should be abolished.
they dont care
the goal is control
IMHO, this is about crony capitalism being hidden in climate change BS.
This is about destroying small business owners and forcing drivers to work for the big companies that pay lobbyists all sorts of money to manipulate the market?
One thing Pres Trump was about, creating a business environment and letting the market make decisions.
“Monopolies...Monopolies Everywhere!”
All beholden to the government.
Shortages is a feature, not a bug.
There are not enough leftists and climate-cultists to feed the starving
I believe that’s the goal. And Blackrock, Vanguard and State St will own everything.
Easy way out if we had the will.
A truckers strike would do wonders for this country.
As a side note, I'd been buying Walmart's Great Value Maple Flavored Pork Sausage Patties for a few years now. They were actually pretty good. Hadn't been able to find any in the freezer sections of three different Walmart stores within a half-hour of me for well over a month. When I went to my local Walmart last week, I noticed they had bags of the patties, so I scooped one up. I also noticed that they had changed the color of the bag, from red to blue, but didn't think anything of it.
The next morning I took a patty out, and cooked it. WTF??? It was horrible!! When I say horrible, I mean horrible. I threw the rest of it away. I sat down and called the phone number on the back of the package, and told the girl that took my call, that Walmart must have gone with a different supplier, because the new sausage patties were disgusting. Gone was any taste of maple. They tasted like cardboard or as if they had sawdust in them. The girl I spoke to told me she would send me a Walmart gift card for the amount of the patties. I threw the rest of the package away. There was no way I would ever eat another one of them.
After I finished with my call, I went to Walmart's website, and did a search for the patties, wondering if there were any other complaints about the change in flavor. Holy crap!! There was nothing but reviews of how terrible the new patties were. Most people like me said that the old patties had been pretty decent, but these new ones were terrible.
I'm old, and because the cost of food is so high, I've made it a habit, that when I buy any food product that turns out to have a problem with it, I will contact the company, and they will send me coupons for their products. They usually send at least two coupons for a free item, and then a couple more for at least 50 cents off a package. I've written Fresh Express when I've gotten what is supposed to be a bag of salad with carrots, radishes, etc. in them, and they've ended up having like one radish. I've written Land 'o Lakes because the cover of their plastic tub of butter has cracked when I've opened it. I wrote the company that produces Ball Park Hot Dog Rolls because I've gotten packages of rolls that are broken, but the damage couldn't be seen within the package. I complain about everything I buy if it isn't up to the standard it should be. Some of the stuff they send out of these factories, never should have passed inspection. I'm tired of spending more for groceries, and not getting what I paid for. So any of these companies who fail to ensure that items are up to snuff when they leave the factory, will be hearing from me.
Agreed. It would be worth the temporary pain. Truckers are the lifeblood of the country. And they are getting the shaft.
It never stops!
I wonder where all these anti human city people think they are going to get their food from? It won’t be from me.
De-population is a good thing as long as it is big city Democrats.
Oops aren’t they one one advocating for de-population?
Just asking for a friend.
The unintended consequence will be that the blue cities will starve first.
“The unintended consequence will be that the blue cities will starve first.”
That is true. Although at first governmental agencies will attempt to transport food to them for distribution. After one or two Mad Max scenes with the gangs attacking the delivery vehicles, or after a couple of the EV trucks have become permanent road bricks, that will probably stop.
Genocide by guile. Make it look like an accident. Well at least before mopping up.
Why is NOtHING these jerks do “disproportionately harm people of color” when they make everything more expensive?
I bought a dozen “Eggland’s Best” eggs last year. One egg was like solidified gelatin. It was gross. I wrote a complaint on their “contact us” and got a coupon for a dozen. They wanted a photo of the bad egg. Nope, it was so gross to look at it went right down the disposer.
