Gettysburg is a small Pennsylvania town with a small school district, a small seminary, and a small college surrounded by apple orchards. It is best known for the most important battle of the American Civil War and the location of Abraham Lincoln's most famous speech. ...
Decline
It is hard to say exactly when or how, but this community, which was built around a seminary, a Bible college, and then a battle, slowly turned secular.
...While the ghost industry was on the rise and the Christmas nativity was in decline, the seminary was in a nosedive. The Gettysburg Seminary, built on Thaddeus Stevens's land, is now a rainbow-flying, trans-affirming school with an openly gay president. It trains up proud "pastors" who walk in pride parades through town every June, dancing, frolicking, and spreading "glitter blessings" over the blood-soaked land.
The high tourist season in Gettysburg is summer, of course, and during this time the town overflows with rainbow pride flags beginning sometime in early May, through much of July. The only tipping point from the rainbows is Halloween season, which comes early in Gettysburg just as Pride Month runs late. Halloween is the high season for ghost tours....
The Latest Thing
Last week, the Gettysburg School District held a public board meeting, in which hundreds of residents stood up and cheered their support for the hiring of a transgender tennis coach. This man, who for the past few years has worn a wig and called himself a woman, has a crowd of supporters who are threatening to sue the school board if they do not hire him.... At the board meeting, 29 people stood up for public comment. Twenty-seven of them spoke in support, with standing applause from the crowd.

The South also loses again in Gettysburg a second time.
Transgenderism is an incurable mental disease that craves attention but has no actual cure that satisfies individuals and society, while it ultimately serves only to divide a society as intended by anarchists. It solves nothing and rarely never will.
Amen. Stayed at the Baladerry Inn, wonderful food and accommodations, and the Bride was visited. Made sounds I have never heard out of her. I was awake the entire time. I stood on the edge of the Wheatfield. My psychic senses have never experienced such an overwhelming feeling. God rest all of the souls who died or maimed there.. ❤️🇺🇸❤️
I thin the guy that runs the museum there went to college with me. Guelzo.
Gettysburg??? Isn’t that in the same state that elected Festerburg?
It could be the bluegrass festival. Lotta longhair banjo players.
Is it that bad?
I’ll tell you what. Frederick MD is the city due south of Gettysburg.
We had a conference there in April, in the old city proper. At a “church”.
THE TOWN WAS CRAWLING WITH VIRTUE-SIGNALLING. Mostly Fag flags. Including this apostate church (long story, bu I just knew it would be like that when this was set up).
I just went to Shepherdstown WV the other week. There was some predictable virtue-signaling there, too.
But I have never seen the disgusting display as I did in Frederick. It’s also one of my prime ancestral towns so it pains me greatly.
I hope this is not the case with G. Though the last time I was there was 2016 when we weren’t yet all into virtue-signaling with flags and lawn signs.
I rather disagree about the center.
It’s a nice visitor center, but it is bloated, turned over to mass tourism, blasted out a bunch of open land, and full of the first bunch we saw of beating on the theme of black slaves. Oh excuse me, since 2019 in Fredericksburg we learned, “enslaved people” (use your best condescending homosexual voice for that).
They got rid of the iconic electric map. So sad. I know things are very digital now but seeing topography is great.

The Electric Map was moved to Hanover, Pennsylvania, where it has been restored and refitted with LED fixtures.
The restoration was completed just prior to the scamdemic. Unfortunately it is located in the second story of an repurposed commercial building, which, at the time of my visit was not ADA compliant (no working elevator).
Yes, I was aware of that, thanks. Just how many people are going to know that and patronize it? They go to the official NPS gargantuan VC. Oh well, another part of our childhood basically gone.
“My psychic senses have never experienced such an overwhelming feeling. God rest all of the souls who died or maimed there.”
Antietam is another place like that—totally freaked me out...
It is on the bucket list.. 🇺🇸
We were in Harpers Ferry WV a few weeks ago. This important historic Civil War town is also lost due to diversity.
It is sad that Gettysburg Seminary, once the alma mater of Henry Horn, has gone gay-male!
Meanwhile, Henry Horn’s University Lutheran Church/Cambridge, has a “pastor” who is a woman “married” to another woman!!
She is the “Lutheran chaplain” at Harvard!
Harvard Lutheran students (especially incoming ones) should flee to the Missouri Synod, and/or speak to the Orthodox chaplain about appropriate Orthodox parishes!!
