WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump’s federal trial on charges that he unlawfully tried to remain in power following his 2020 election loss to Joe Biden will begin March 4, a judge here ruled Monday.
US District Judge Tanya Chutkan set the trial to begin one day before Super Tuesday, when Republican voters in 15 states and territories go to the polls to select their choice to be the party’s 2024 presidential candidate.
The trial in the nation’s capital is set to start three weeks before Trump is due to stand trial in Manhattan on charges related to payouts to porn star Stormy Daniels – despite both sides in the federal trial estimating they would each need up to six weeks to present their cases.

Your court guru is right on the money. If these bogus cases are not all dismissed before the election, then American jurisprudence is definitely in the dumpster.The sheer politicization of the U.S.legal system is becoming more and more blatant with each passing day.
By the opening months of 2024, the lamestream media will be reluctantly covering Biden's impeachment hearings. All this current anti-Trump hub-bub created by the corrupt Dem state court systems will be a fading sour smell lingering in the political atmosphere.

I was in error in one minor point: Cawthorne and MTG’s cases were tossed along the lines I laid out, but apparently in NM a J6 protestor was kicked off the ballot. I assume he did not appeal.
Yep. If they were confident in Joe Biden’s actions in the past 2+ years were uniting the country, and that he had another four year term in him they wouldn’t be doing this. They know he is a disaster, they know people are worse off under him, and they know people know it.
I suspect, if they had someone to run against him, who wasn’t senile, inappropriately, touching children, etc. They would have found a way to throw him under the bus. Unfortunately, there’s practically no one in the pipeline right now. Sure, we can speculate people like Gavin Newsom would like to, but until this point, it has not happened.
Unless Congress decides to turn over the jurisdiction over to Maryland. But why would they do that?

This was HIS choice. He pushed it into primaries. He could’ve asked for a speedy trial, but he gets huge support when libs come for him so the timing sure seems to be to his political advantage. That seems to be ur only strategy that makes sense to push it into primary season.
THeir cases do not have a chance in hell of surviving trial, and certainly not on appeal.Selective prosecution does not work against a former president.The case will make a great campaign platform for President TRump.....assuring his re-election.
For example , look at the evidence that Trump will submit in discovery proceedings in the Georgia Case.
