I am not buying that. When the President walks into the Press Room it gets coverage. Suggesting he was helpless is one of the funniest things I’ve ever read.

It's no worse to attack him on this "Trump did nothing" lie than for attacking Pence for his "not my concern" (twice!) statement to Tucker.
I knew Pence was implying Ukrainian tanks but that's not what he really communicated. Twice. Pence knows better, especially as careful and slow as he is with his words. It was saying the quiet part out loud even if it was his subconscious shouting it.

How would Trump have even known who to pardon? The DOJ has been adding people from day 1 to now. It is not possible to pardon people when you don’t even know who will be targeted, swept up in this corrupt political exercise.

It wouldn't make sense for Trump to pardon literally anyone at J6 for crimes against the United States. Does he pardon "non violent crime," maybe just "trespassing?" What would such a pardon look like before anyone knew what crimes would be charged or even who the people were involved?
Trump could've pardoned himself for J6 but why would he think he'd need a pardon for J6? He was looking ahead to 2024 and didn't want "pardoned himself" to be an election issue.

I thought I made myself clear. This isn’t a SHOOT THE HOSTAGE for me. This is I’m finished with voting for a politician who smiles in my face, telling me what he/she thinks I want to hear only to stab my vote in the back once they are in DC. It’s about not voting for the supposed lesser of two evils anymore. It’s about never again giving my vote to Uni Party whether they have a D or an R after their name.
