Some reports are coming through that French Generals are calling for an Uprising and intend to oust Macrons Government. Situation in France is deteriorating quickly.

3. The rioters are looters mainly - they got their fill
4. More French police have been deployed
5. The number of incidents has reduced since the weekend.

The French tried it at the end of the Algerian war. Some ended up against the wall, some ended up with amnesties, a few ended up back in the army years later.
Could be, but we don’t have a General running the government or a different King/Emperor/Dictator which is the gold standard historically for a coup.
