SINGAPORE (Reuters) - The target of keeping long-term global warming within 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 Fahrenheit) is moving out of reach, climate experts say, with nations failing to set more ambitious goals despite months of record-breaking heat on land and sea.
"We've run out of time because change takes time," said Sarah Perkins-Kirkpatrick, a climatologist at Australia's University of New South Wales.
Global warming is the major factor, said Piers Forster, professor of climate physics at the University of Leeds, but El Nino, the decline in Saharan dust blowing over the ocean and the use of low-sulphur shipping fuels were also to blame.
"So in all, oceans are being hit by a quadruple whammy," he said. "It's a sign of things to come."
Climate experts say the extent and frequency of extreme weather is increasing, and this year has also seen punishing droughts across the world, as well as a rare and deadly cyclone in Africa.

“We’ve run out of time because change takes time,”
Fine. Then shut up and leave us alone.

What? I thought the use of low-sulfer shipping fuel was supposed to stop globull warming? These "experts" must need more funding. But I guess it no longer matters because it's too late, right? Yea... that caught my eye too. It's a poorly written article. That must be an error. Surely, they meant "Failure to use low sulfur fuels"??
I mean.... It's the greenies that have forced the use of low sulfur fuel. Which, I can live with. It's not THAT hard to do. Better than NOT BURNING ANYTHING, EVER. That's hard.

What really upsets the climate cult is no one is listening or believes them ,LOL

After we hit the “point of no return”, will they shut up about it?

Climate Alarmist 101:
1) Alter Temp records from it being hotter in the 1930s to it being hotter now.
2) Pretend like the records were not altered and claim that industry is to blame for your alterations and everyone must take whatever actions you prescribe before its too late.
3) Repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat until there is a generation of ignoramuses that don't see through your B.S.
4) Demonize those who call out your B.S.

Since the climate changes naturally all of the time and there’s no way to halt or reverse that, every moment is a point of no return. You just have to wait out the cycle until eventually it goes the other way, which will happen. It might take millions of years, but it will happen.

Notice how it always “nears the point of no return” but never goes past it. If it went past the point of no return, the $$$$$ would stop.

Climate nears point of no return
It does that on average about every 5 years, if we are to believe the climate-change experts who have been threatening
the point of no return for decades.
Greta was ahead of AOC. Al Gore way before either of them. Claims were made in the 80s, the 70s, the 60s and decades before. They threatened that the hole in the ozone would be the end of humanity. [It healed itself and they realized its opening and closing were natural events.]
It is amazing that they can be on both sides of the issue -- global heating one day/global cooling the next day -- and still attract followers who cannot see through their Big Lie based on falsified and manipulated data models.
