During an interview with CBS Mornings this week, Anheuser-Busch Brendan Whitworth opened up about the controversy, admitting that “the conversation has become divisive.” ... While Whitworth did not give a clear answer on whether or not he would have partnered with Mulvaney in retrospect, he did make it clear that Bud Light will continue to support the LGBTQ community.
“Bud Light has supported the LGBTQ since 1998, so that’s 25 years. And as we’ve said from the beginning, we’ll continue to support the communities and organizations that we’ve supported for decades,” he said. “But as we move forward, you know, we want to focus on what we do best, which is brewing great beer for everyone. Listening to our consumers, being humble and listening to them, making sure that we do right by our employees, take care of and support our partners, and ultimately make an impact in the communities that we serve.”

Bummer. I was looking for a job when I found this one. People who choose to stay with a marxist company deserve what they get. I say the same for the talking heads that stick with Faux News, the so-called "good guys" at the FBI or anywhere else. Want change? Be it. Live it. That's one of the reasons we're where we are. We've become very comfortable with peaceful slavery. We're all too willing to toe the marxist line in return for the big mortgages, payments on the lifted pickup truck, credit card bills, RV payments, etc. That is NOT how you destroy an enemy who is extremely dangerous to your Country.
In fact, Larry Fink of BlackRock has already started backtracking on his previous statements about supporting the Woke Movement because he and BlackRock have been getting negative publicity.
I was told that September is the month when stores determine shelf space by sales. BL may find far less space this year.
So, Budweiser products intend to remain “Queer Beer”.
Or rather, the brewer intends to keep them that way.
The board should have told the CEO to fall on his sword and submit his resignation in a very public statement of apology to their "loyal" customers.
Then it’s probably a good thing for a lot of decent people that you aren’t in charge. Continue to vent at will.
Bud?
Public enemy number one?
I’ll let you make the call...
Americans sends a clear message to AB.
“Enjoy your coming bankruptcy”
Holidays are a big money maker for beer.
AB is not going to do well.
You confuse "decent people" with gutless cowards. The only decent people are the ones taking a stand. The rest of us are gutless cowards who still believe being nice is the way to win back our Country.
Interesting that in less than four months Bud Lite has been replaced as number one selling selling beer in the US by a Mexican import, competing brands have surged and the trend is continuing.
I think AB misread the polls suggesting 20% of Gen Z identify as LGBT and whatever. The T part is just a fraction of a percent.
Good, let that be your market for buying your beer. I’m out.
Again, have fun venting. And have a great day.
I strongly suspect that '30%' figure is being deliberately put out there, but is way below the reality of the situation. They are having extreme difficulties even giving their tranny fluid away.
Certain folk keep saying this, but we haven't seen the quarterly report that actually reflects their sales during this clusterfuck. 'woke' Institutional investors will keep them afloat at least until then.
I don't really expect AB to go bankrupt, but they are eventually going to take a pretty big hit from this.
BudLight had no choice—the Gays were the only ones buying their beer now.
Maybe Bud should come out with the “ IT “ line of light beer.
