President Biden is set to host former President Obama at the White House for lunch on Tuesday, the White House announced.
The lunch comes as Biden has stepped up his fundraising efforts ahead of his first 2024 campaign finance report in July. He is set to fundraiser in Chevy Chase, Md., a suburb of Washington, D.C., later on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Biden will travel to Chicago — Obama’s hometown — for a speech on the economy and for fundraisers.
The Biden campaign didn’t respond to a request for comment on whether Obama will join Biden at the Chevy Chase or Chicago fundraisers.

At some point, one has to assume that this scandal touches Obama directly. It is already safe to say that it touches him indirectly because this is HIS VP who used 1 billion dollars of my kids money/future to perfect a bribery scheme.
How would Obama not know about this and if he did, why would he acquiesce to it while he was in office?
A legacy is a funny thing and as the glow fades the history books are going to reflect corruption within his administration. I don’t think Obama took a dime because he was promised tens of millions upon leaving the WH (book deals and Netflix) and he could assume board positions and other no-show work immediately that would give him millions more. However, IF he knew what Biden was doing (how could he not?) he is complicit.
Just my .02. Obama is going to push Biden out because the longer this scandal continues and grows the worse it makes him look. Obama also knows that Biden is going to wreck the democrat party and if that happens it increases the likelihood that his minions, still entrenched in the bureaucracy, will be removed.

At the same time his VP was peddling influence and money laundering, his secretary of state was running the same (although more sophisticated) kind of operation out of the State Department (Clinton Foundation).

it might have been more sophisticated, but peanuts compared to the Bidens take. The Clinton Foundation at least had to put on an appearance of legitimacy, whereas the Biden’s just flat out took the money and Hunter blew his share on hookers and blow in plain sight.
Who else is attending the luncheon? The last time Obama visited the White House, there were so many other people in attendance clamoring to speak to Obama, while Joe was wandering aimlessly behind him, calling to him, trying to get his attention. Obama just ignored him.
Of course he knew. He served in the Senate with Biden, and I'm sure heard the rumors, and the history of Clinton corruption is well known, but he chose both of those criminals to join him in his Administration.
Barry will have an after lunch reefer on the terrace for old time sake.
