Biden Wants to Build an 8,000-Mile Ocean Train, and I Say Let's Do This!
PJ Media ^ | 15 June 023 | Stephen Green

On today’s installment of “What the Hell Did Biden Actually Just Say?” we have the alleged president of the most powerful country in the world announcing his plan to build, and I quote, “a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean.”

Seriously.

Those are his own words. This isn’t some Deep Fake video; it’s Presidentish Joe Biden speaking Wednesday night at the League of Conservation Voters’ annual Capital Dinner, whatever that is.

There’s a bridge north of town that you need to walk a bike across, lest you be blown over. Sometimes, semis on the Oregon coast are blown over by storm winds. Something tells me that Brandon doesn’t know what the oceans are like.

There must be a Doctor of Geriatrics. Even administrator or nurse of a rest home here.

What is your honest opinion? I think he is feeble and demented.

>an elevator to the moon

That would be an assured Biden level failure as it's top — the moon — isn't fixed over any possible point on its bottom, the earth. Attempting to link them would seriously damaged both ends and the middle.

Now it is surely theoretically possible, albeit quite expensive, to build an elevator from the lunar surface to luna stationary orbit. It may be theoretically possible to build an elevator from earth surface to geostationary orbit. The required strengths of the materials for it would be much higher than for the lunar elevator and push the limits of what is possible with current materials, but it may be possible. If proven possible and various potential glitch scenarios can be overcome, it might actually pay for it's immense up front capital costs over time from the huge potential savings in price per pound to orbit over current rocket options. Not worth spending real current money on the project, but if suitably qualified egg heads want to mentally play around with its theory, let them. Its upside is astronomical, but if it crashed to earth the downside potential is also astronomical. The egg heads would need to think it through and engineer it at at least Apollo level safety margins and be able to convince non-gullible skeptics up front.

That train is even more importation of hundreds of thousands of Indian tech workers to destroy the lives of Americans.

On June 22 Biden is prepared to hand over the jet engine business to Modi and the f’n Indians. Decades of technology development handed to the Indians on a platter. More Ohio jobs destroyed, sounds like a plan. Where are the republicans on this, spit. Right there with them.

C'mon, man. Give the (cough, cough) president a break here.

Certainly we can build on the unqualified successes of the California High Speed rail (under budget, ahead of schedule, a jobs factory, and the climate is happy), and build a little under water, 8 thousand mile choo choo.

Money is no object.

Easy breezy.

He’s president of the United States. Who’s the fool? Biden or the people who voted for him or the never Trumper Republicans or the rest of us who didn’t do enough to keep him out
