Former President Donald Trump, a 2024 Republican presidential candidate, promised to appoint a special prosecutor to go after the Biden family and others in a post on Truth Social on Monday.
He posted:
NOW THAT THE ‘SEAL’ IS BROKEN, IN ADDITION TO CLOSING THE BORDER & REMOVING ALL OF THE ‘CRIMINAL’ ELEMENTS THAT HAVE ILLEGALLY INVADED OUR COUNTRY, MAKING AMERICA ENERGY INDEPENDENT, & EVEN DOMINANT AGAIN, & IMMEDIATELY ENDING THE WAR BETWEEN RUSSIA & UKRAINE, I WILL APPOINT A REAL SPECIAL ‘PROSECUTOR’ TO GO AFTER THE MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE USA, JOE BIDEN, THE ENTIRE BIDEN CRIME FAMILY, & ALL OTHERS INVOLVED WITH THE DESTRUCTION OF OUR ELECTIONS, BORDERS, & COUNTRY ITSELF!
The defiant post comes days after the Biden Justice Department moved to indict him for allegedly retaining classified documents at Mar-a-Lago after he left office.

He should make a campaign promise to prosecute all of the treasonists and influence peddlers.
I fully support Trump, and I will write his name in if I have to.
But, in my opinion, his trouble really started when he campaigned with the rallying cry “Lock her up!” and then backed off and said he wasn’t serious.
Here, he says he’ll prosecute the Biden crime family. Let me just say that “I have my doubts”.

He should pound this type of message and not be distracted into social media squabbles and irrelevancies. Sharp. Disciplined. To the point. On Message.

Otherwise he will be lucky to get any special prosecutor appointed, let alone one that does their job impartially.
Even then with a DC/NY grand jury, and McConnell selected judges, we don't know how far that will go.

No, he won’t. Just like the first time, the eGOP will threaten to allow him to be impeached and he will cave to that pressure.

Once he won, his rhetoric on her changed. He said she’s old and sick and used to be a friend. Seems like his campaign rhetoric was just red meat to the base he didn’t really mean.
That brings memories of “lock her up”
He said he wanted to move on and wanted to focus on jobs and the economy.
Agreed on that, though it may be a bit more personal this time. Though like others, I’ll believe it when I see it.
