President Joe Biden accidentally fell over on stage Thursday as he attended the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation.
Video footage shows Biden, wearing a suit and ball cap, walking happily across the stage when suddenly he trips to the ground.
Several secret service members immediately run over to help assist the president.

Biden was walking off the stage when he appeared to have tripped on a sandbag. Biden was later seen motioning to the sandbags after he was helped to his feet. Biden walked away unassisted. Twitter users were quick to react to the fall, with Outkick’s Clay Travis calling it “elder abuse.”
One Twitter user, Jason Howerton, said “I wish we could just let this man retire and spend time with his grandkids.”
ACT for America founder and chairman Brigitte Gabriel tweeted “it’s time to invoke the 25th Amendment.”
Prior to his fall, Biden thanked the graduated for choosing “service over self,” according to the Associated Press (AP).
“Graduates, you made a noble choice to lead a life of service,” Biden said at the graduation, which was held in Colorado. “Now you also shoulder a great privilege and a mighty responsibility.”

I didn’t see a sandbag, but isn’t it worse that he totally missed navigating a sandbag. Those things are very large. 15 x 8 x 5 inches maybe.

There is a sandbag visible at the bottom of the screen. This sandbag looks like it is holding up a black bunting at the edge of the stage. Biden is standing on the other side of that bunting.
You can tell that the bunting being supported by the sandbag is between Biden and the sandbag because the black pole holding the Teleprompter is behind the bunting (the bottom of the pole is blocked). Therefore, Biden was not able to be tripped by the visible sandbag.
Now, that doesn't mean that there wasn't a similar sandbag on the other side of the bunting. I doubt it, because the sandbag would take up a lot of stage real estate. I think that Biden actually tripped over the base of the pole that was holding up the Teleprompter, not a sandbag.

I take no pleasure in him falling. I do, however, cringe when I read that he praised the graduates for “choosing service over self”, considering that he has used a nominal ‘public service’ position to enrich himself and his family and to bully (or worse) those he views as enemies. Politics is NOT public service. It’s for scam artists who also want stature.
Those of us who are on the wrong side of 75 should know our limitations. Pity Biden does not know his.

Adults on stage are supposed to see and navigate around stuff. Not doing so correctly suggests distraction or disorientation. Neither is a positive for biden at that particular moment.
