An 11-year-old was arrested Monday and charged with armed robbery and armed assault in connection with a crime spree that began on May 21.
The initial May 21 crime was one in which the 11-year-old allegedly approached someone and demanded they “hand over their belongings.” When the individual refused to hand them over, the 11-year-old allegedly pulled a gun to force compliance, USA Today reported.
FOX 5 noted the May 21 robbery occurred on Lamont Street and was allegedly followed by “an assault with a dangerous weapon on Irving Street on May 24, and a robbery on Luray Place on May 26.”

Ha! Good point. And to make things worse, the kid was always being hassled by the police when he tried to call for help.
(Okay, I’m done.)
Kid knows what theft is - needs to have a taste of jail and his parents pay a stiff penalty since apparently it wasn’t his first time.
SPJNK.
Those gun laws sure helped stop that crime, didn’t they!
He might well be charged with all kinds of things, but if the juvenile laws in D.C. are similar to other places, he’ll be actually punished for none of them. Likely will be returned to the loving arms of his family. His name will not be released, his victims will never know what has become of him, and should he live to be 18, he’ll have a clean record.
Wish I could remember that video
It really showed the (lack of) mentality
Gangs let their youngest aspiring members do things like this, knowing they won’t get serious jailtime.
“He might well be charged with all kinds of things, but if the juvenile laws in D.C. are similar to other places, he’ll be actually punished for none of them. Likely will be returned to the loving arms of his family.”
If he is old enough to decide he wants a sex-change operation, he is old enough to stand trial as and adult and go to the big house.
Breitbart left quite a bit out...
Parents? What parents?
I wonder if the 14 year old in SC had any money when he was in the store. If he had a gun, and no money, it could be he lost his nerve in a planned robbery. I’m guessing he was acting hinky, contemplating shoplifting, or worse. The store-owner had no doubt seen it before. No excuse for murder, but....
Awful song.
“If he is old enough to decide he wants a sex-change operation, he is old enough to stand trial as and adult and go to the big house.”
I like it, but I always thought it the weakest song on the album.
A win-win for the parents……….he grabs some loot and brings it home or he gets shot and dies, sues the city and becomes millionaires. In fact, could have said, “boy take this gun and rob some people, make sure the cops are around and sees the gun”.
Don’t know that one
Hey, you don’t understand. Violent crime is just the new hobby for teens in this country.
I am surprised they didn’t say “11 year old teen. “
But he will not even get a slap on the wrist and when he is put down his momma will be out in front of the cameras crying, ‘he was a good boy.’ and sue the city for millions.
Probably just looking for his Skittles
Just following in the foot steps of brother or dad or uncle somebody.
