Trump uses Tim Scott’s 2024 launch to swipe at DeSantis

Former President Trump on Monday welcomed Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) to the 2024 Republican presidential primary, using Scott’s entry into the race to chide another rival: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

“Good luck to Senator Tim Scott in entering the Republican Presidential Primary Race,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “It is rapidly loading up with lots of people, and Tim is a big step up from Ron DeSanctimonious, who is totally unelectable.”

Trump noted that he and Scott worked together to establish opportunity zones, an investment incentive included in the 2017 tax cut legislation passed by Republicans and signed into law by Trump.

Yawn, Trump is a boorish fool, his time is past, in every aspect he is turning out to be a total and absolute embarrassment. But don’t worry, you’ll get over him just fine in the future, just as I and everyone did with Lyn’ Ted.

“... that a culture that condones filthy rap music, degenerate entertainment, allows the mutilation of children, the destruction of the nuclear family is all of a sudden horrified when Trump calls a spade a shovel.”

And there’s no one around who has been waging war on that debased culture harder and more effectively than DeSantis.

Thanks. I’m wondering what other deep pockets donors have left Trump lately. I’m seeing evidence that Trump may have major funding problems this time that he didn’t have in 2016.

“And there’s no one around who has been waging war on that debased culture harder and more effectively than DeSantis.”

While Trump hosts the Log Cabin Republicans (the gay community) and aligns with the leftist media to defend evil entities like Disney.

“But the main attraction, obviously, was Trump. He received a standing ovation after delivering an enthusiastic affirmation of gay rights not often heard in the GOP.”

“waging war”???

Signing a few bills and giving a few speeches is waging war now?

What do you call Trump having to fend off the entire world’s elites?

I think there’s a certain herd mentality among these guys and once an exodus starts it tends to gain momentum. I think Peter Thiel broke from Trump a few months ago.

An inconvenient fact concerning the ire over a same-sex “marriage” being hosted at Mar-a-Lago-most of the place is NOT pres Trump’s residence-it is a country club, golf course and a rental venue for catered events like weddings, seminars, birthday/holiday, etc-a business-which pres Trump’s company owns and operates, for all sorts of events-including those that you or I think are perverse, etc-it is no different than any other event venue, except only the rich can afford to book there, like many others in that area-that 1st amendment is for everyone, including those we do not agree with...

I really dislike some of my customers and what they do-but I even find nice things to say to them, like any other business owner who likes to get paid so we can eat-I can call them names and yell profanities once I’m in my truck on the way home...

Funny, but... I could have sworn I’ve seen Trump accuse DeSantis of wanting to cut SSN and Medicare. I guess it’s totally different with someone like Scott doing it.

**************

That would be Senator Rick Scott R-Florida.

He wants to change the mandatory spending part of the budget.
Mandatory spending is 66% of the Federal budget.

It’s not the same thing at all, but you already know that...don’t you.

Trump is a multi-millionaire (or maybe even richer since he was president). He is running for president again. You know that whoever or whatever groups he panders to and sucks up to is extremely pertinent to the mostly Christian Republicans and Conservatives that are currently supporting him. It matters. Especially as he continues to bash and demean a fellow Republican candidate that is NOT pandering to the gay community and woke companies like Disney.

Everyone has a choice to make, ultimately. And these issues will matter.

“What do you call Trump having to fend off the entire world’s elites?”

What do you call Trump coming to the side of Disney and hosting the LGBT crowd and telling them he’ll be their best defender?

It was the gay crowd and don’t hold your breath waiting for DeSantis to do any different.

As Rush Limbaugh use to say, no politician can afford to get sideways with the gay lobby.

This is not new for Trump. He did the same thing in 2016 primary. He goes after everyone. Especially the closest in the polling. He will get the primary nomination.
