New York City has lost nearly half a million residents over the course of just two years, newly released United States Census Bureau data reveals.
The Census Bureau data, which shows population estimates for mid-2022, finds that fewer than 8.4 million residents remain living in New York City — still making the Big Apple the nation’s most populous city by several million.

After all, they do love immigrants.
...As long as they vote D....
In Texas, it was the native-born who voted for Beto, and the out-of-staters who went for Cruz.

People don’t move unless they absolutely have to. For rabid left-wingers, moving to a red state is, figuratively, like moving to Nazi Germany. They don’t do it unless they’re completely out of choices. For rabid right-wingers, heading south is like making Aliyah for Jews, which is why the tendency will be for blue state refugees to lean red.
The rodent population is still thriving . . .
Even AOC does not want to live in NYC.
But they all will be replaced by end of 2023 with ILLEGAL INVADERS
When I watch a show like Blue Bloods and they show an arial view of NYC, I get the creeps and wonder why anyone would want to live there.
I hope they don’t lose so many that they are forced to shut down their picante sauce factory
We visited our old next door neighbors kid last week in Manhatten. She is a 25 year old Finance Bra.
She was changing apartments next week because they were raising her rent from $4K/month to $5K/month for a 1 bedroom/1 bath.
two other people on her floor appear to have been moving out, also during our visit.
It was like the building was Raising rents to cover the cost of the lack of revenue from people moving out.
The layman’s term for this is “Death Spiral”.

Does that mean there are only 7.5 million stories in the Naked City now?
No. They will give themselves seats like last time.
That’s a bizarre poll.
It literally says that 58% of voters in Texas were born in Georgia.
That’s exactly what is happening, all the citizens are being replaced by illegals.
I grew up in Woodside Queens which is about 5 miles east of Manhattan. Today I don’t even recognize it, it’s like some town from Mexico. I can spend an hour walking up Roosevelt ave. under the 7 train and meet not one person who speaks English.
give them time, they want to.
They did that to Rush when he left NYC for Florida.
Of course not. She loves her ultra-posh $5,000 a month DC condo
Getting what they voted for! No sympathy here. No one ever asks are the riders in the wagon leaving NY and Cali or the pullers? Not everyone gets to be a rider.
The good news for the states picking up those fleeing as they have the financial means to take care of themselves or actually WORK for a living. The majority of those moving to Florida according to voter registration are GOP for instance. Unfortunately some of those are RINOs or in my mind dem coconspirators. You can tell immediately their degree of insanity if they suggest some change beginning with words “back where I lived”. I always follow that comment with sounds to me you would be happier there.
Love that Ariel view. Reminds me of army days “spread out, one gernade will get you all”. Seeing that video I think a lot larger.
