China's Family Planning Association, a national body that implements the government's population and fertility measures, will launch the projects to encourage women to marry and have children, state backed Global Times reported on Monday.

Twenty years too late.
Once a culture falls out of love of having children, it will not come back. China is out of time, I believe.
“Central Planning” caused the problem.
Only a fool would think that the same “Central Planning” could solve it.
China will force women to have babies. Russia will be next. Both nations are authoritarian with below replacement birth rage and their populations are declining. At least in the West, we are attracting immigrants.
If they restrict abortion, then more children will be born. I’ve heard China has liberal abortion laws.
If they restrict birth control, that would also result in more births. I don’t know what if any controls they have over birth control pills or other devices, but, since China is a totalitarian country, President Xi and his boys, could decree that birth control is verboten.
And, they can decree policies which encourage early marriage.
Please.
Not matter if you are trying to get people to have babies, are trying to prevent people from having babies or only get certain people to have babies it always ends in tears.
Stop sticking your fingers in it and the pendulum will swing back.
Instruction #1 is don’t talk to your infant using googoo gaga baby talk. Speak to them directly in a calm adult voice at all times unless you want to raise a thumb sucking idiot

That is there are many young people who have just dropped out and are just lying flat, preferring to do nothing at all rather than exist as wage slaves. they call it tang ping and there are lots of photos and graphics made and used by those who live on their phones
