President Trump: Is “Rob” just young, inexperienced and naive or, more troubling, is he a fool who has no idea what he is doing. We already have one of those in office, we don’t need another one.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump .3h

Rob DeSanctimonious and his poll numbers are dropping like a rock - I would almost be inclined to say, these are record “falls.” The question: Is “Rob” just young, inexperienced and naive or, more troubling, is he a fool who has no idea what he is doing. We already have one of those in office, we don’t need another one. MAGA!

Yeah right.

Trump made it clear right from the start he wasn’t going to sit back and let this interloper waltz in scot free.

Desantis will rake in some cash, but he’ll go the way of Jeb mark my words.

DJT did give an alternative ‘maybe he’s just inexperienced’.

> Ehhh, he did the same name calling with little Marco, lyin Ted etc. it’s just the way he rolls. <

Wrong then, wrong now. It makes enemies of people unnecessarily.

Trash-talking your opponents has value if you are, say, a professional boxer. But Trump was a successful real estate guy before he went into politics. He had potential advisories back then: union bosses, building inspectors, Democrat politicians. I can’t believe he acted that way back then.

Call a troublesome union boss or building inspector names would be counter-productive, to say the least. Better to use a bit of quiet strategy instead.

How childish of Trump to try not to use someone’s name. What is Trump, 10 years old? He needs to end the low IQ nonsense.

Is Trump trying to scorched earth destroy the Republican party and chances in 2024? His continued badmouthing Republicans does not win him a single voter and more likely loses any Independent and others that might consider voting. This is so destructive, and, yes, so Trump.

P.S. DeSantis has done more for Florida than Trump did for the US.

“Why Rob and not Ron?”

Because....apparently, Trump won’t be satisfied until he has alienated half or more of the people that vote Republican. Ron DeSantis is not his enemy and only a fool would treat him as such. That said, Trump knows exactly what he is doing.

How many of you wish Trump would focus these zingers on Biden and Democrats, instead of a successful governor of his own party?

Trump trashes Biden and the Democrats often. Maybe you should change your focus.

Is there a reason he is going after DeSantis like that. I was thinking he could run as his VP. I know he is connected to the bushes. But Trump is having nothing to do with it.

Trump has done his oppo research. He knows what DeSantis is about and why he's running. if DeSantis truly supported MAGA he would just wait 4 years.

The fact that Trump trashes Biden and Democrats, doesn’t change the fact that he trashes DeSantis. What is your opinion of that?

The US would benefit if both Biden and Trump withdraw and let a new generation of candidates vie for 2024.

> It would be more useful for both of them to tear down Biden. We need to learn the tricks of Democrats. <

Well said.

The GOP is not called the stupid party these days for nothing. And Trump is far from being the only sinner here. For example, Christie and Sununu have being taking shots at Trump lately.

Just stupid.

Let’s see.

We gave the Presidency in 2017 to a guy who had no clue about how to get anything done, whose own party was dedicated to blocking him at every turn, and this is an RDS problem???

Both names have stuck.
Trump roughed up Lying Ted so badly Cruz WILL NEVER be President.
And he barely won his recent election…IN TEXAS.
He may continue to be elected a Senator, but Never as President.
The same fate awaits the Meatball if he jumps in 2024.

Trump has done his oppo research.

He sure as hell hasn’t done any ally research. Thread so indication that he’s learned a damned thing.

I don’t like Trump’s insults. I agree with Reagan’s 11th Commandment, but I don’t know how successful it would be into today’s political environment. I don’t like insults against anyone, including Democrats. Sure. Biden is ancient and apparently having cognitive difficulties. Rather than personal attacks, I prefer attacks on Democrat policies.

Politics is blood sport these days. But really, what good does it do to play nice and lose? With so much on the line these days, literally national survival, winning is vital. Democrats open up with everything they have against Republicans, no holds barred. Lawfare, personal attacks, outright lying, election manipulation if not outright fraud—all are being used against Trump.

As for whether DeSantis and Trump are on the same political team, I don’t know. I read rumors that DeSantis is being supported by the GOPe, but I don’t know if that’s true. DeSantis is pretty good on the issues I know of. However, I’m Trump no matter what this election and think DeSantis should serve out his full term as Florida governor.

Too bad he didn't rough up Biden as much. "Sleepy Joe" didn't seem to make much of dent. Might have had better luck with "China Joe," "Sleazy Joe," or even "Creepy Joe."
