I still remember the day 32 years ago I took my four year old daughter to her dance lessons and watched unwittingly out the window of the dance studio a scene unfold across the street in the parking lot.
I was on active duty at nearby Offutt AFB. A pick up truck with Iowa plates pulled up after coming across the Bellevue Bridge over the Missouri River. I saw a young teenaged woman sitting on the passenger side with her head in her hands. An older teenaged boy jumped out of the driver’s side of the truck, ran around to the passenger side, jerked the door open, and pulled the girl out of the truck sobbing her head off. He dragged, pulled, and pushed her down the sidewalk after slamming the door.
I did not understand and wondered about calling the police, but that was in the days before cell phones. One of the other parents witnessed the scene also and I asked if we should do something. She said probably just a teenager love spat. Best to ignore. I returned my attention to watching my daughter at her dancing lessons.
A half an hour later leaving the studio I noticed the truck was still there near my car in the parking lot. Getting into my car with my daughter, I started driving down the street and looked over at the building which I thought the teens had entered and saw the name on the door: Dr. Leroy F. Carhart, M.D. A chill of recognition ran through my blood which is still there to this day. I realized there was a child who had been killed and who would never learn to dance or laugh or play or love and be loved. I have heard all the pro-aborts lecture on having a choice, but I have often wondered how many other women were dragged into a clinic like that girl and how many other abortions did that evil man do on teens of questionable age.
Was Leroy Carhart beyond the mercy of Christ? I do not know, but if the hell created for the devil and his angels holds a place for human souls, and our Lord Jesus Christ taught that it does, then Leroy Carhart belongs there.

What a heart wrenching story. I’ve always said abortion is often perpetuated by MEN — selfish, careless, uncaring men who refuse to honor the woman and child in their greatest hour of need and who only see women as objects to fulfill their own needs. Not all — but too many.
I can only imagine there are vastly many souls in need of our prayers, but I know the names of very few of them.
It seems that the worst criminals become known by name, opening up the possibility that we may pray for them by name, whereas unknown sinners die unknown, so that very few people are able to pray for them by name.
I will NOT accord any special privileges to this monster just because he gained public notoriety through his evildoing.
I like your response. When examining this guy’s Judgment, we should diligently examine our own lives and know that all of us deserve the exact same sentence that he will presumably receive.
Scripture confirms this in Romans and many other places. The only thing that we could ever do to receive forgiveness is a complete belief, confession, and sanctification in what Jesus did for us and who He is.
Someone posted up thread that Hitler could be in Heaven and ‘Mother’ Teresa could be in hell - yes very true. There are dozens of examples of horrible people who have turned to Jesus in the Bible for salvation. It’s an amazing thing.
People don’t understand that God loves us so much - even the vile murderous folks that he gives us enough time to repent and turn towards Him while there is time.
Time and longevity in one’s life is mercy. Every day is a new mercy. What folks do with it is on them.
None of us can run away from death and the impending doom it brings, but you can tun to Jesus to escape that final Judgment.
He loves all of us and will wait 90 years sometimes for a hard hearted vile person to find Him if necessary. The big problem is we don’t know when our number will be called.
Best be ready today, or NOW….

Thank you for posting the link about Nathanson.
One of the great high priests of Moloch finally heading “home” to receive its earned “rewards” for a job well done. Hell enlarged itself to take this vile POS in.
That’s a spectacular comment. Bravo.
I hope he received Jesus before he died.
Agreed. We all fall short. Mysterium iniquitatis.
He could qualify as small time communist dictator
Understandable; but...
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise
as some understand slowness, but is patient with you,
not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.
Amen.
I’m sure that my sins are just as foul in GOD’s eyes as Leroy’s ...
Luke 17:2 niv
It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
Broad is the path that leads to destruction.
Well, according to the Book...
The lives were not ‘potential’.
NOW you’ve done it!
John 3:18
Exodus 21:22
"If men fight with each other and hit a woman who is going to have a child so that she loses her baby but no other hurt comes to her, he must pay whatever the woman's husband says he must, as agreed upon by the judges.
