A 20-year-old Colorado woman was killed after a large rock was thrown at her vehicle. The victim was one of at least five victims of rock attacks on cars in the Denver area.

Around 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a large rock was launched at a yellow Chevy Spark. At the time of the attack, Alexa Bartell was on the phone with her friend. The phone call went silent.

Bartell's friend used an app to locate Alexa’s phone. The friend found Alexa's Spark in a field off the road. The 20-year-old woman was dead inside her car near Denver, Colorado.

Police suspect that the rock was thrown from another vehicle or from the side of the road.

Rocks, rocks are the problem. They need to have people get registrations for Rocks.

What about gravity? Why is that problem being ignored? Probably racist gravity, too. Right, Buttplug Pete?

Frozen turkey case. Six months. The injured driver advocated for leniency. The confederates of the thrower got even less.

“Anthony Ruvolo says his aunt died Monday. The cause is not known, and it’s unclear whether the old injuries contributed to her death.

“Newsday says every bone in Ruvolo’s face was shattered and the steering wheel bent when the teenager threw the 20-pound turkey at her car.

“She endured reconstructive surgery and months of rehabilitation.”

Man killed baby by dropping bowling ball, sentenced up to ten years. Why would you ever charge less than murder?

https://apnews.com/article/71e7c590e491e412f7badc579927c9e3

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) _ A man was convicted Friday of throwing a bowling ball off an overpass and through a windshield, killing an 8-month-old girl.

Calvin Settle, 19, was found guilty of manslaughter in the 1994 death of Natalia Rivera of New York City and could get up to 10 years in prison April 7.

Settle had testified that the 16-pound ball had slipped out of his hands as he stood on the overpass. But two boys, ages 11 and 12, who were with Settle at the time said he heaved the ball onto the highway as a car passed underneath.

The ball bounced off a truck and hit Santos and Donna Rivera’s car, killing their daughter in her car seat.

I am not sure if being under the influence of cannabis is better for ones self or others because there is less outward violence demonstrated in a social setting.

Happened here as well in Atlanta, years ago. Two kids were throwing concrete blocks off an overpass and one went through the windshield of a car and killed a woman. They were prosecuted for murder, and I believe convicted.

I visualize him dropping manhole covers off highway overpasses at three in the morning.

Sure but alcohol does so far more greatly to the point where people cant even control basic functions like peeing and pooping. They aren’t even in this world and cant comprehend what they are doing. They will literally step on children while punching and crapping on them. Sometimes they have a complete memory blackout doing things like that and might wake up in jail.

NEVER ever saw anyone too high on pot smearing feces everywhere like I saw with alcohol literally every few weeks. The worst is they’ll fall asleep on a couch and we had to ask them to get up. They don’t go batshit crazy and then pass out COLD choking on their own vomit like often happens with alcohol overdose.

If I was betting, booze or speed are far more likely to involved in cases of violence like this

The only inhibitions that pot caused me to reduce were snacking and sleeping.

I agree, but your personal experience with drunks will never convince anti-pot drug warriors, who ascribe to it every evil in society.

But DeSantis is spending too much time and effort on cultural wars.

He should be talking about the marginal tax rates on capital gains.

That’s the one I remember. The baby was in the back in a car seat. She should have been the safest person in the vehicle. Terrible. That overpass got fenced in then. They should be fenced, no matter what.

‘People who fear that other people are hopped up on marijuana cigarettes are the ones that want drug laws that make criminals out of harmless people that end up overwhelming the justice system...’

IOW, the same types that thought it was a peachy keen idea to ban the commercial sale of alcohol in the early 20th century...

always, everywhere, and in just about every population cohort since the dawn of mankind there have existed asswipes who get high on ordering people around, and punishing them if they resist; without doubt, abuse of power is the greatest intoxicant in all of history...

The biggest force is the moving pictures, TV, videos, or however they see them, it is constant images of bold moves, taking action, doing the action, and being the action figure, it has saturated their brains with the imperative to act on the impulse, a rock doesn’t get thrown through that window if you don’t pick it up and throw it, be bold, ACT, do it, BE, see the visual.

Everyone is in the center of their own movie, I remember my shock when the TV started showing the double tap, and sure enough, street shooters started finishing off the wounded over the following decades.

Think of a million young people from pre-TV with no artificial images filling their minds versus young men and women today, no wonder they aren’t calm and thoughtful people, they are caught inside a movie matrix always requiring an instant decision for every impulse, take action, or be passive.
