Kansas City, Mo. Mayor Quinton Lucas (D) said early Wednesday that the recent shooting of 16-year-old Ralph Yarl “has everything to do with race.”
Police say Yarl was shot twice by Andrew Lester, an 84-year-old white homeowner, after the Black teenager accidentally went to the wrong address to pick up his younger brothers.
“This defendant, in the probable cause statement, is indicated to have said that he was afraid of Ralph because he is a tall, Black man,” Lucas told “CNN This Morning” on Wednesday.
“He thought he was in some way menacing or scary. I don’t think that was true,” Lucas said.

The exits of many homes (especially in the north) used to have two doors each: a standard, wooden one with locks and a cheap aluminum one on the exterior side with a screen, plastic, or thin glass windows and a simple locking latch.
Visitors were supposed to ring the bell and wait. The owner would open the main door to talk to the visitor through the second and only open it if desired.
That provided a civil barrier so people could talk to one another without exposing the home owner to the elements or a potential physical assault.
Maybe it wouldn’t matter these days. And there are door cameras and speakers and whatnot that do the same. But you don’t see those doors much anymore (I don’t) but I think such a door would help in situations like these.
Hey, at least this finally SEEMS to be a case of an innocent black victim.
Usually, they’re rioting to support thuggery. I always ask, tell me when they kill someone truly innocent.

ALSO-—How come kid ‘didn’t have phone with him? Today’s kids consider a cell phone a permanent IMPLANT.

Kansas City, MO is already on the TOP TEN list of criminal towns-—as “MAYOR” you surely should have known that.
This elderly man did what many would do even if they were 44-54-64.
Vilifying him for living where crime keeps the city in the Nation’s Top Ten isn’t the answer. HE probably has lived there LONGER than you, MR MAYOR, have been alive.
Work harder to clean up the city you wanted to be MAYOR for.
Release this man from custody & all charges.

It really doesn't matter where you go or what you are doing. Negroes give themselves bad reputation. There are not enough well educated, hardworking, honest negro encounters to make up for the negative encounters.
There isn't going to be peace until there entire 12% of Americans that are negroes start acting like the majority of the population.
