Budweiser has released a new patriotic advertisement as its parent company struggles with controversy over its endorsement partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
The advertisement, which was released on social media Friday, features one of Budweiser’s famous Clydesdale horses traversing the country from New York City to the Grand Canyon, passing by scenes in the American heartland as a narrator delivers a patriotic message.
This is a story bigger than beer,” the ad’s narrator says in the ad. “This is the story of the American spirit.”
As the ad plays, the Clydesdale horse passes by some of the most famous American landmarks, showcasing the New York City skyline, the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, small towns, and farmland.
At one point, the ad showcases two people raising an American flag as one places her hand over her heart.
“Brewed for those who found opportunity in challenge and hope in tomorrow,” the ad’s narrator says as the horse passes by the flag raising duo and the Lincoln Memorial.
The patriotic ad comes as Anheuser-Busch, which owns Budweiser, continues to deal with backlash over a partnership between another one of its popular brands, Bud Light, and Mulvaney.
Anheuser-Busch has suffered a financial hit as calls to boycott its brands have spread across the country, with one Missouri bar owner telling Fox Business last week that sales of bottled Bud Light dropped 30%, while draft sales dropped 50%.

That ad reminds me, it’s Miller time.
I noticed a flash of two male couples in this All-American commercial. Not sure how they fit in or why they were in it. But nothing would surprise me.
“ Can anyone here help me find Bass Ale?”
No, but I’ve got some “Old Frothingslosh” here somewhere…
There's no place I'd rather be than right here,
With rednecks, white socks, and Blue Ribbon Beer.
Really, her mistake cost them BILLIONS in Sales revenue.
BILLIONS, not millions.
I laugh at people who think conservatives actually boycott. We buycott and we do it without major planning.
Trying to get people on the right on the same page is like herding cats.
Someone can tell us to stop boycotting and our answer is, “I am not boycotting. I am just trying something different.”
LOL, Great response.
As it stands, Mulvaney is the new face of American patriotism (according to Budweiser).
You said it better than I did.
Absolutely no chance, whatsoever. She'll probably get a promotion, and a new nameplate on xher door, listing her pronouns ("xhe"/"xher"/"xfugly").
Wrapping themselves with the flag won’t work.
Now they are only PROVING they are liars. No Queer Beer for me.
“They’re ethically bankrupt.”
Public corporations generally are.
I like to use an example of canned baby meat. If it were legal to sell/eat baby meat, suppose a company had a presence in the canned food aisle of the grocery srores but didn’t want to get into canned baby meat. You can bet that the stockholders would be asking at the yearly meeting why the company missed getting on the ground floor of the canned baby meat market.
FOAD Bud!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you lose an a$$ ton of money for being STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“PUDweiser.”
That’s good.
The fact that Brenden Whitworth (or whatever his name is) hasn’t fired her yet tells me that what she did is mighty fine with him. He has issued no apology. He has her back. The DEI movement is embedded strongly and deeply in these corporations. They don’t care one whit that they are seeking to divide us, and since they want to keep it up. I’m happy to let them go.
We haven’t had BL or Bud in this house for many years, but we have had many of the others, Shock Top, Kona, Stella, Mich Ultra, Goose Island, Elysian, and Omission among them.
I now have that list permanently on my phone for when I go to the store to refer to. AB will no longer get any of my money. Guests will have to bring their own if they want it. We won’t be offering it here. There are PLENTY of other great brands.
I do have to keep watch out for all companies now though. The DEI overlords are making me do my homework.
I’m surprised they even want to wrap themselves in our beautiful flag. They hate our country and our values. I hate seeing our flag used as a prop, and that’s ALL that it is to them, a prop.
I’ve been a Rolling Rock and Yuengling drinker, when/ if I drink.
Really like Stella but that’s another one I won’t buy!!!!!!!
Yuengling beer, bring it on!!!!!!!!
Made over the hill from me in Pottsville, Pennsylvania!!
