Bud Light suffered a bloodbath this past weekend.

Consumers nationwide revolted against the nation's top-selling beer brand after it stepped "recklessly" into the culture wars last week with its new spokesperson, transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney, according to bar owners and beer-industry experts around the country.

"I think society flexes it muscles sometimes and reminds manufacturers that the consumer is still in charge," Jeff Fitter, owner of Case & Bucks, a restaurant and sports bar in Barnhart, Missouri, told FOX Business.

How were Gillette razor sales doing a year after their tranny ad? I don't know, but that information would be indicative of Bud Light's future.

What i've read about Gillette is that they took a bloodbath, but I don't have any recent information on the topic.

I think beer is different. There isn't an audience watching you shave so that they can make fun of you for picking a sissy razor. There *IS* an audience watching people drink beer, and I think no man wants to be associated with being a sissy or a f@g.

you guys who drink flavored heavy micro brews and Malts are used to what you drink. But the majority of people... 95% worth maybe, look to normal beer as their beer of choice. Personally I drink Coors Light because out of them all, Coors Light’s bender to headache ratio is far below all other beers I’ve indulged in.

But between 1978 and 1984 or so, Genesee Cream Ale became the biggest selling domestically produced ale in the U.S. We don’t have a ton of numbers from production back then, but as far as we can tell, those were the glory days.

I remember drinking in around 1976, awful heartburn and worse if you drank too much :)
