Ron DeSantis has joined Donald Trump's call to defund the Justice Department and FBI over its 'weaponization' of the legal system by its investigations of the former president.

The Florida governor also attacked Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who indicted Trump earlier this week, saying 'if we had somebody in Tampa that was trying to pursue that agenda, I'd yanked him from his position.'

DeSantis' tough talk comes as polls show that, even in the wake of his indictment, Trump leads him in the race for the Republican presidential nomination. DeSantis has not officially announced he's running but is widely expected to announce a bid.

BTW, when DeSantis unequivocally states he is not running for POTUS 2024 and whole-heartedly endorses the man that made him politically, he will be on my side, on MAGA's side, and America's side, until then, he is not.

I think someone clued DeSantis in on what is important for conservatives.

It is less about Trump, but and more about who conservatives can vote for and elect. If the candidate stands for issues that a important to conservatives, the democrats and their agencies will do anything, including lawless acts to keep them out of office. That my friends is bad for this democracy.

The border, the economy are all important. But if our candidates are hounded out of office, then we don't even get a voice.

If our freedom of speech is taken away, and we are censored in the public square, then we don't have a voice.

Today it is Trump being persecuted. But tomorrow it can be DeSantis if he is not kowtowing to their agenda.
