New York Grand Jury Indicts Donald Trump
Breitbart ^ | 30 Mar 2023 | MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 03/30/2023 5:06:17 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

A grand jury in New York has indicted former President Donald Trump, according to emerging reports.

“A Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Donald J. Trump on Thursday for his role in paying hush money to a porn star, according to four people with knowledge of the matter, a historic development that will shake up the 2024 presidential race and forever mark him as the nation’s first former president to face criminal charges,” the New York Times reported on Thursday evening.

“The felony indictment, filed under seal by the Manhattan district attorney’s office, will likely be announced in the coming days. By then, prosecutors working for the district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, will have asked Mr. Trump to surrender and to face arraignment on charges that remain unknown for now.”

Trump, reacting to the news, bashed the decision as “Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.”

“From the time I came down the golden escalator at Trump Tower, and even before I was sworn in as your President of the United States, the Radical Left Democrats – the enemy of the hard-working men and women of this Country – have been engaged in a Witch-Hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement,” Trump said in a statement responding to the news he has been indicted. “You remember it just like I do: Russia, Russia, Russia; the Mueller Hoax; Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine; Impeachment Hoax 1; Impeachment Hoax 2; the illegal and unconstitutional Mar-a-Lago raid; and now this. The Democrats have lied, cheated and stolen in their obsession with trying to ‘Get Trump,’ but now they’ve done the unthinkable – indicting a completely innocent person in an act of blatant Election Interference. Never before in our Nation’s history has this been done...

This ignores all the Fake Investigations that go on seven years to run out the clock on every Democrat and their friends.

Republicans only repeated the Dem Mantra - No one is above the Law when they raided Trump.

Then the Republicans turned around and gave the FBi a Huge Budget increase.

RE: Under seal. Secret charges.

Familiar.
We’ve all read about the Stalin and Hitler charges against political opponents.

What did you expect? None of the traitors who abused the FISA laws in 2016 were put away.

As long as they continue to get away with it, it will continue.

Sorta like what happens when you don’t enforce the criminal laws in the cities.

Yes!

This is common sense. Clear as can be.

Comey, Strzok, Page got big book deals or Network gigs.

Durham covered for them. Lindsey Graham covered for them.

RE: Every President will be indicted for the next 50 years.

I’m sympathetic to your holding onto the traditional ways but like Castro and Xi and especially Putin, the new American Commie leaders will have staying power and won’t have many living rivals to indict.

Will “win” the “election” by 99% every four years or simply put elections on hold like Castro did “to preserve the Cuban people’s revolution against danger from outsiders.”

You are right. I have been on a grand jury and we only heard one side of the story. The DA presented his case and brought in his witnesses and it was a done deal. The witnesses can lie, the prosecutor can leave out evidence that he has and knows of that could show the “guilty” person may very well not be guilty...tough toenails for the alleged suspect. This should not be. I believe there have been many, many innocent folk that were put through a trial that never should have been.

Bragg and his legions will not be satisfied until DJT is sodomized repeatedly at Rykers.

They are really hoping for an Epstein final solution.

An indictment is a charge of involving probable that a felony has been committed; an accusation of criminal wrongdoing... but until the court signs off and rubber stamps the indictment (agrees the indictment is sound and proper), Trump cannot be arrested, fingerprinted or detained in any way.

It’s all a circus side-show and a propaganda move by the corrupt NYC DOJ and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg; an irresponsible play that panders to his base and fulfills his campaign promise that he would indict Trump if elected. It’s all BS in an attempt to tarnish Trump and hurt his reelection bid.

Bullshit. Of course he can run. He’s innocent.

The problem may come from the Republican party.

Remember, the GOP never wanted Trump to win the nomination and/or the Presidency in either 2016 or 2020 and it still doesn’t want him to win in 2024.

The primaries are totally under the control of the individual parties. The GOP may decide to NOT place Trump’s name on its states’ primary ballots due to his legal problems. There is nothing that can force the RNC to do so. If Trump is not allowed to compete in primaries, there is no way the party will nominate him to the November ticket.

Bill Clinton had Betsy Wright on his campaign staff, presumably being paid by campaign funds, who’s main responsibility was to put down “bimbo eruptions.” One bimbo eruption was Jennifer Flowers. Remember her?

So, no doubt the bimbo eruptions were paid to shut up and not interfere with Clinton’s election. Why wasn’t Clinton brought before a grand jury for actual, real violations of campaign laws during the campaign?

Why isn’t Stormy Daniels in jail? She extorted money from Donald Trump to not reveal an alleged affair. That’s blackmail. Trump’s the victim, not the perpetrator.

It doesn’t even matter if he is convicted - the only restrictions on being president are being a natural born citizen and 35 years old. You can be a convict, no problemo. Except harder to run from jail, and you probably get fewer votes from suburban moms and stuff.

This is the first shoe to drop. The Fulton County, Georgia case will almost certainly result in an indictment against Trump. Followed by the federal special prosecutor investigating the archives papers and January 6.

The RINO’s will want to exclude Trump from running in the GOP primaries. They may be able to have enough state GOP organizations refuse to let him run in their states to make it impossible for him to win enough delegates to win at the convention.

Meanwhile the 24/7 news cycle will spin constantly with trial news. The Dems will the ability to choose the juries and likely the judges in all three cases. Likely at least one will result in a conviction. The appeals process can be very long and in the event of a conviction the appeals court may not hear the case for more than a year. In the interval the election comes and goes. If Trump is on the ballot as the GOP candidate or an independent, the media will work with the Dems to convince the voting public a candidate convicted of a crime should not be elected.

Imagine Trump is the GOP POTUS candidate, has been convicted of some crime, and is sitting in jail on election day. The Democrat ballot stuffing machine is in overdrive and Trump loses the election due to the steal. If the Republicans wouldn’t oppose the steal in 2020, will they oppose the steal when the victim is a convicted felon they hate?
