NYT ^

A Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Donald J. Trump on Thursday for his role in paying hush money to a porn star, according to four people with knowledge of the matter, a historic development that will shake up the 2024 presidential race and forever mark him as the nation’s first former president to face criminal charges.

I have been pretty firm about my belief from the day after and onward that hundreds of thousands of state laws were broken on election day. I believed it then and I believe it now. Despite that, he still almost won. It was pretty amazing when you step back and look at it and it could only happen when the rule of law no longer applied (as discussed above).

The deep state/media cabal won that fight bigly. They threw microphones in the face of Sidney Powell and Lin Wood and made the whole thing look crazy (along with GP and some other alt-right media sites and even the MyPillow guy) and the next thing you know we are talking about an Italian hacker and the director of the CIA being dead in a bunker in Germany when the real steal was obvious (as well as the campaign interference ala Zuckerbucks).

They have perfected the art of marginalization so they will pick the craziest thing that weighs 50lbs and erase a ton of meat and they never stop hammering. As much as I hate their ability to control and shape the narrative you have to admire the cleverness of it.

They played 4D chess and Trump (and my kids) paid the price.

"Here is Stormy Daniels admitting in 2018 it never happened."

Trump never signed the NDA, and Daniels later sued to have the original NDA declared null and void because he hadn't signed it. Then there's Michael Cohen's 2018 letter saying Trump or his Organization never reimbursed him. Usually if someone is indicted, specific charges are cited. Nobody wants to say what Trump was indicted for. I guess they're making it up as they go along.

He had transgressed “The Unwritten Law”.

Good pointed post.

Why so worshipful of a man? Especially a very, very flawed man in every way?

When you don’t have the facts you still own the process.

You are not a good judge of character.

Really? How so?

I was not the only fan of Palin around here back during the TEA Party days...

Sarah Palin meets Jim

Sarah Palin IS this Tea Partier's cup of Tea!!

Thanks. I need facts like yours to go with the wild suppositions and speculation going on.

Of course I oppose this move and don’t like to see it, except for two things that might work in our favor (as freedom-loving conservatives) ...

(1) This makes the current administration look desperate and petty.

(2) A court case will provide an opportunity for discussion of subjects that we are continually being told are “settled” in particular the 2020 election.

There is always the chance that Trump will be found not guilty, but I think most of us figure the court system in NYC city at least is probably rigged like the election was rigged, so a guilty verdict is not going to change many minds.

Given the overall situation the real context of this matter is not the narrow legal case itself but the wider political implications, and balance. Whatever the pros or cons of this case, nobody in their right mind could possibly say that there is a balanced political situation in America today. Many millions of people perceive that leading Democrats have committed far more serious crimes than anything Donald Trump could have done (and that could easily be nothing illegal at all). Those crimes may amount to the highest possible types of serious felonies and even treason. Those are the crimes that require investigation and consequences, something that ironically could only become possible if Trump (or a very small number of other possible candidates) becomes president.

The symbol of the justice system is a set of balances. Perhaps instead it should be a marked ace of spades.

WHAT THE H ARE THEY REALLY TRYING TO COVER UP?

Now that Senate Bill 686 (Should be known as Satan's Bill 666) is becoming more widely understood, they had to come up with an emergency distraction from their unprecedented, massive, unconstitutional thugocratic power grab.

Another mass shooting would take a couple of days to set up. All this would take to put in action was a phone call or text message to Bragg or Letitia James.

Soon his son will be taking his place as well.

I've read that although Soros is a rich man he also, as most rich men do, has enormous debts, some of them to very bad people he has been associated with over the years.

From what I read, those people may not be coming after George, but after his death they will swoop down on his son like Joe Biden on a freshly-shampooed girl.

He’s a leader of a political movement.
MAGA. millions of voters..

Not worshipped..
Supported..

That’s the loyalty that one can attain when one begins their political career by being spied on by the country..

And being public enemy number one of two political parties - the R and the D teams

That’s not worship.
That’s unwavering support..

And it probably just got more unwavering..
