The Lee County Sheriff’s Office released footage showing the attack at about 4 a.m., on Sunday.
In the video, the driver is trying to get away from the crowd when a man suddenly runs up to his window and opens fire.
Both victims were wounded during the shooting, but they managed to drive away

Really? Key West sunrise today is about 7:30am. Ft. Myers is about 3 hours away.

My husband and I neither one sleep well at night and when we do sleep it is only for about 3 or 4 hours at a time. When we travel in the RV, we often leave home after midnight. Traffic is lighter and moves at a slower pace so it is pretty enjoyable. If we get sleepy, we can find a park and pull over for a couple hours sleep.

More like 4 hours to Key Largo, 100 miles from Key West.....
Three hours by ferry.
5 to 6 hours drive time depending on traffic.

Because they want to and they can-not as much traffic when towing a boat, which is nice. But I don’t think anybody of any age should travel unarmed right now-especially not when towing a tempting high dollar item like a travel trailer, boat, etc...
