Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has finally taken the gloves off and launched a blistering attack on his former mentor President Donald Trump.
In an exclusive wide-ranging interview with me airing on Fox Nation’s “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on Thursday, he said “stay tuned” about his widely expected announcement that he’s running for president and declared: I have what it takes to be president and I can beat Biden.
But it’s what he said about Trump that will ignite a firestorm in the Republican Party.

Concur, everybody else seems to be putting words in his mouth. I’m actually not anticipating him running.

Amazing how DeSantis was a Conservative Hero until Trump announced he was running and attacked DeSantis and Youngkin for no reason.
RDS is short by presidential standards. Met him in 2018 --- I'm 5'7" and in flats we were just about eyeball-to-eyeball; in 4" heels I had an unobstructed view over his head 🤫

We both agree DeSantis has done Florida great, but I highly doubt he has the political capital to go up against Trump and win in any fashion.
