Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has finally taken the gloves off and launched a blistering attack on his former mentor President Donald Trump.
In an exclusive wide-ranging interview with me airing on Fox Nation’s “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on Thursday, he said “stay tuned” about his widely expected announcement that he’s running for president and declared: I have what it takes to be president and I can beat Biden.
But it’s what he said about Trump that will ignite a firestorm in the Republican Party.

If anything, Piers Morgan is trying to incite outrage.
He uses provocative headline and lead-ins, but Desantis delivers little in print anyway, in terms of “opens fire” or “roasts”.
He may have something different to say on the recording Thurs, but the extensive print doesn’t reveal much “opening fire” hyperbole.
He’s critical, yes, but metered.
It’s Piers (Trump invitee on Apprentice, and winner) who is stoking fires.
Anything for publicity.

Why sit out? If Trump is not the nominee, I plan to write his name in. It’s Trump or nobody for me and my family. IMO, Trump is the only one who will fight for us. And with the way everybody, both the left and right, has been coming after him since June 2015 when he first announced he was running, that has to tell you something, no? For the 4 years he was President, I give him a lot of credit for what he got done with arrows going after him the whole time. It’s a miracle he got anything done!

My inquiry still stands. I want to know who DeSantis would appoint. Actual names, not a vaporous “solid conservative credentials” description.
But I also want to know Trump’s appointees as well. Not past appointees but future appointees.
That is what will run the next government.

Partly from watching Trump’s show. Trump sure invited a lot of curious people on his show and gave them money.
Yes, much ado about nothing. Tabloid clickbait headline, Piers teasing his show for ratings. Freepers used to be more savvy and wise to these tactics. The body of the article does not match the headline at all. We have no idea what DeSantis actually said or didn’t say. But hey, that does not stop some people from getting all worked up over a fake headline. Good grief, Charlie Brown.
