Men who identify as women will be barred from competing with women in high school sports in Wyoming under the new legislation.
Though Gov. Mark Gordon (R-WY) did not sign the bill, he did not veto it either and instead allowed it to pass without his signature.
However, Gordon did write a letter to Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray in which he described the legislation as “discriminatory” and “overly draconian,” while also claiming that it “pays little attention to fundamental principles of equality.”

...The legislation comes as a number of different states take action to defend children from transgender ideology. In Tennessee, Gov. Bill Lee recently signed legislation banning the use of sex change operations, cross sex hormone treatment, and puberty blockers on minors. He also signed legislation banning drag performances on public property and in the presence of children.
In Kentucky, lawmakers in the State House passed a bill to prohibit healthcare professionals from attempting to medically transition minors, which would “require an investigation of any report of provision of gender transition services to a person under the age of 18 years” and also “require revocation of the provider’s license if confirmed and termination of public funding for a public employee.”
Meanwhile, Iowa’s State Senate passed legislation that would bar students from using bathrooms that don’t correspond with their biological sex.

sounds like the Gov. needs to get his a55 primaried.
Good. Wyoming should do this. They were the only state for a long time that gave women the vote. Truly they are a leader in Equality for American Women. (That sounds a bit snarky but I’m not kidding, I appreciate that. I’m an American Woman too!)
As to HS only, College students are generally considered to be adults, no? Even if some in attendance are minors. So that might be different. The State has control/responsibility for K-12 Ed, think College is a voluntary thing. But, just spit-balling tbh.
To beat the leftists at their own game, have the entire boy’s basketball team declare that they are female when they have to play a team with a “trans woman”.
Sounds cowardly to me.
What is a man
The ones with the schlongs.
Sounds like the Gov is a weasel.
Excellent!
Great idea! I would think the team could’ve woken up that morning identifying as women. The trans tyranny rules say you cannot question their ID.
Couldn’t Powerlifting do that, since some crossdressing male sued them, because they made it a rule men can’t compete against women. Crossdressing male won his lawsuit.
I want to know more. Just banning men from women’s sports does nothing if men can just “identify as women.”
The law will have to define what a male and female are, explicitly and scientifically, for it to have any real teeth.
Your sex at birth.
Your sex at birth.
Not even that will work. The newest trend that is getting traction is for "theybies," newborns who are not "assigned a sex" at birth and there are plenty of moonbat doctors who will coddle this insanity in their insane parent clients.
The law will have to define the physiology and genetics which objectively indicate sex, because many doctors won't.
Yes, it’s simple.
Yes, it’s simple.
It will have to be defined down to the molecular level- whatever then genes say! Natural human chimerism is very very very rare!
