In response to a violent weekend of fatal shootings, the City of Miami Beach has declared a state of emergency and imposed a curfew beginning at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023, and lasting until 6 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023.
The decision was prompted by two separate incidents, one on Friday night in South Beach that left one person dead and another injured, and another fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.
The City Manager plans to implement additional curfew restrictions from Thursday, March 23, 2023, through Monday, March 27, 2023, to ensure public safety. A special commission meeting is scheduled for Monday at 4 p.m. to further discuss potential restrictions going forward.

The videos I’ve seen of spring break in Miami don’t look like the spring breaks of other cities in FL. Completely different crowd.

Because among the many delusions that leftists are filling young people’s heads with, is that it is perfectly fine and healthy to be obese, and that there should be no shame in being a bloated, unhealthy mess.

They’re probably also PO’d they look like sweat hogs. I was always amazed how some obese people wear these skin tight clothing. I’ve seen 425 pounders wearing their their 12 year old’s clothing. I’m thinking, gezzz, it must take these bloated behemoths an hour to cram themselves into their pants.

Spring break years back was mostly college kids coming to drink and hook up.
Now, the students are outnumbered by street gang thugs local and from out of state.
And we ain't talkin' Ohio Players here.
There’s “Spring Break” and there’s “Black Spring Break”. Take a guess whiuch one has more murders, rapes and assaults.
There’s some real beauties right there. There was a time when Miami beach was full of beautiful women. I bet they are still there. They are probably in hiding until the spring break brutes leave the area.

My daughter lives in SC, where they have the notorious Myrtle Beach spring breaks. Nothing but brawls, thefts and robberies, and killings.
When the cops haul them in, there’s perhaps one “student” out of every ten arrests.
So this means now that the town has to be totally locked down, curfews, shuttered stores, etc when it’s spring break time. Some businesses just close up altogether when this crowd descends upon them.
Where are any real black leaders to come out and tell people, black or white, that this behavior is not okay?
Oooh, what fun-Spring break in Miami Beach-with badly-dressed big ol’ heifers fighting in the street while other kids get it on video with their phones to put online-just put a fence around those three girls and call it a cage match-maybe sell tickets...
I thought Spring break was fun when the normal sized, fit girls prowled the beach in bikinis, drinking beer, hanging out and maybe hooking up with a good looking guy...

College kids don’t go to Miami Beach. I did Spring Break in Key Biscayne and we went to Key West.
Two shootings? That isn’t even the pre-midnight toll in Benghazi-by-the-Lake.
