Michael Cohen, a former personal attorney for Donald Trump, said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Alex Witt Reports” that prosecutors from the Manhattan district attorney’s office convening a grand jury as part of a criminal probe into a 2016 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels have asked him to come in Monday “as rebuttal witness.”
Cohen said, “This morning, I did receive a whole slew of phone calls from journalists, asking me if I’m going to be back to the DA’s office tomorrow as a rebuttal witness to whoever it is that they’re bringing there tomorrow. Whether it’s before the grand jury or it’s just to meet with them for an interview, I’m not sure, but yes, I was asked to make myself available and to be at the DA’s office tomorrow as a rebuttal witness.”

1. The alleged NYC charges are predicated upon the presumption that Donald Trump made an "illegal" hush payment to Stormy Daniels.
2. The only way the allegation rises to the level of a felony would be if the payment was made as part of a larger criminal undertaking.
3. The alleged "larger criminal undertaking" was a violation of Federal election law.
4. Trump has not been convicted of any crime related to any Federal election law. He hasn't even been charged with any such crime. In fact, he probably can't be charged with any such crime (due to the statute of limitations related to said crime) even if he came out tomorrow and admitted that he committed such a crime.
5. So the NYC mutant prosecutor is left with this bizarre case where he's alleging a local/state crime related to a Federal campaign finance violation that doesn't exist.
6. He probably feels like he's got to call some jackass witness to fabricate some kind of legal house of cards where non-existent Federal crimes count as "crimes" in his state case.
From what I hear there is a new “Surprise witness” scheduled to testify on Monday which is why Braggs probably called back this dick head to be there..makes me think whoever this surprise witness is, makes Cohen and his lackies look like liars so Braggs has to bring back Cohen to help him make the case

exactly...he was a Trump flunkie/groupie...after Trump won, he was by-passed completely for the White House...he actually wanted to be chief of staff. He was pissed about that...then he got nailed for tax evasion over his taxi medallion scam. Had zero to do with Trump....thats why he did time.
