Donald Trump has called for protests for his impending arrest by fanatical zealot prosecutors in New York, even though many people have said the prosecutors have no case, and even though this unprecedented act has more in common with corrupt Latin-American governments than it does with the America I once knew.

I've seen a lot of people who are not willing to protest this heinous act, because they have successfully been intimidated by the FBI locating and prosecuting certain January 6 protestors.

Their attempted intimidation should dissuade us, or even slow us down. Remember, they simply cannot arrest us all. Even J6, out of the millions that showed up, they managed to arrest 1000, and plan another 1000. That is a tiny fraction of the crowd.

Also, are we not willing to sacrifice to try to preserve our Republic? Remember the closing line of the Declaration of Independence: “We Mutually Pledge To Each Other Our Lives, Our Fortunes, And Our Sacred Honor.” Can we at least do similar, in memory of the great men who penned this Founding Document?

Still, it is wise to be mindful and reduce the chances you might be chosen as a martyr. To that end, I have the following suggestions and thoughts:

1. You are very likely not protesting in the corrupt cesspool of Washington, DC. You will likely be protesting in your home city. The advantages offered to the FBI and other powers won't apply.

3. Leave your personal cell phone at home.
4. If you must have a phone , get a cheapo burner phone. Buy it with cash. Do not ever allow the burner phone to be physically near your normal smartphone.
5. If you must have a phone, be very careful who you call. Do not call home. Do not call your partner. Be very careful which friends, if any, you call. Ideally, call only other burner phones.
6. If you must have a phone, I suggest it should be strictly to capture video of suspicious attendees or civil rights violations.
7. This is by no means a 100% effective technique, but wearing a Covid mask and sunglasses can assist slightly with interfering with facial recognition software. Even better is if we, as a group, can find a full-face mask that fits our agenda, such as a Donald Trump mask. Antifa did the same thing, employing the Guy Fawkes masks.
8. Be careful how close to the protest you park. If possible, park reasonably far from the event and take mass transit (if available) or a taxi (paid with cash).

These measures are meant to help you keep your identity private. If, however, your identity is ascertained, remember this: THEY CANNOT ARREST US ALL.

I am seeing other post saying things like "Don't fall for another Jan. 6 style trap". Those other post are assuming people would protest in Washington DC. There are some members here who are pushing for people not to protest.

Our corrupt government is at war with it's citizens. This is not about Trump. This is about a corrupt government that is suppressing it's people will. People in power are acting like King George did.

United States of America is a banana republic. If you do not fall in line, they will take your job, they will kick off of social media, they will cancel your credit, and now they will lock you up if you protest. People should not have to live in fear of their government.

I spent 22 years serving this country, I am not about to bowed down and worship a corrupt government.

We are at a turning point. We must vote those fools out of office, We must take back America, We must stand together and say no to a corrupt government.

I will be protesting local. Why protest behind enemy lines.

Do not carry a cellphone, if carry a phone place it in a Faraday phone bag. Do not turn phone on within a radius of a protest site. If you are traveling to a site outside of your home state, turn the phone off or leave the phone at home. If you need a phone, use a burner phone.

Hotels Pay cash or use an unregistered prepaid credit card. If possible stealth camp outside (van life) the protest area. Use public transportation or bike to get to the protest site.

Communications Use License free radios like Multi User Radio Service (MURS). Remember those are not encrypted, they will be monitoring. For Command and Control use Lora Mesh network with encryption.

Rule 4: Make the enemy live up to its own rules. The enemy will have surveillance set up at the protest site. You do not want to catch COVID so wear your extra large-mask with sun glasses (it will be a sunny day). Wear your mask when traveling to site and leaving site.

Traveling long distance to protest Avoid major highways. A lot of the highways have License Plate Recognition Cameras. Best to use back roads and park outside the protest city. Use a bike to the protest site.

Be aware of Agitators The feds will be there to get innocent people to break laws. Be peaceful do not engage the police or break windows. If you see an Agitator point them out. Keep each other in check.

Using a camera to take pictures or videos would be safer than a cell phone, since they can’t be tracked. Nowadays, most digital cameras, even cheap point-and-shoots, can take video, and small, pocketable camcorders are still on the market.

So, let me see if I have this right....stay in your homes, do not even peacefully protest, as it might involve some risk. Well, it’s not like President Trump took any risks for his people. It would be different if he had been viciously attacked non-stop 24/7 by the press, had to defend himself against hoax after hoax, had his family attacked, his friends and employees targeted, lost a small fortune, needs constant security, has to fight constant threats and lawsuits, and will now actually face time in jail. By all means, don’t take any chances standing up for him, even though he has called for people to do just this. I sure wish I lived in America...I’d stand up and peacefully protest for this man, and whatever happens, happens.

It’s a good thing the patriots in days of old had some guts. The number of people leading the way to sitting in the basement is disappointing. We’re MAGA! Fighting to save our nation! Just, please, if you don’t mind, remove any and all risk before we show our faces....their J6 operation worked like a charm on us!

A lot of cameras still record metadata (Exif data) onto phones. The data can be use to track down photos. Use software to remove the metadata before uploading to the internet.

Also, if you do bring a phone, turn off location tracking and find my phone features. Unload any browsers you have or other tools which could be used against you in a kangaroo court of law.

If you do take pictures, you will need the time stamp and have a physical reference point that you can refer to.

I don’t think so. There have been so many protests around here that groups have to make an appointment to protest at the capital steps or else risk ending up in the middle of another protest, and not even an interesting protest, more along the lines of warring 4H groups.
