The University of Notre Dame’s gender studies program is hosting a talk with the author of a book titled “Queer Holiness.”
Set to take place on March 23rd, the event titled “Queer Holiness” will focus on “the gift of LGBTQI people to the church” and will feature Charles Bell, the author of a book by the same name.
“For millennia, institutional churches have told LGBTQI people what God expects them to be and how to act,” the description reads before going on to say “in parts of the church, LGBTQI people remain the subject of hostile questions.”
A description of the book says, “From prohibitions on who they might love or marry, to erasure and denial, the theological record is one in which LGBTQI people are far too often objectified and their lives seen as the property of others.”
“In no other significant religious question are ‘theological’ arguments made that so clearly reject overwhelming scientific and experiential knowledge about the human person,” the description also reads.
It goes on to explain, “This book seeks to find a better way to do theology… taking insights from the sciences and personal narratives as it seeks to answer the question: ‘What does human flourishing look like?’”

The U. of Notre Dame should be forced to change its name. The mother of Jesus is famous for her modesty. Associating her with queerness is an outrage.

“Science” has no intrinsic moral or ethical boundaries. Without religion and philosophy to inform science and set the boundaries, it is capable of the greatest of human atrocities, such as experiments made by NAZI scientists on people, and the subsequent experiments on children that followed them in Operation Paperclip.
Further, once Biblical morality is rejected (here, using the thin facade of so-called “science”), anything goes. Rape, human trafficking (aka, modern slavery), child sex abuse, sexual torture, and all manner of degeneracy. And those who want unbridled access to these things to gratify themselves in their perversions will lie to us, society, and themselves about how reasonable, fair, and scientific this is.
There is no such thing as “what two adults do in private” because two adults can never do what they do in the bedroom without the required meeting and mating rituals that accompany what happens in private. Therefore, society and its standards are hopelessly intertwined in questions of sexuality.
The promoters of the neverending sexual revolution always knew this. They always knew that people are not bound by DNA to sexual perversion and that choice is part of it. They knew perverts would never be satisfied with any limits of any kind, but they still tried to trick the public into acceptance of deviancy. Little by little they chipped away at the foundations of morality until now it is a full frontal assault against them.
