A trove of newly-released text messages and emails have laid bare how the right-wing media giant operated with little regard for fact in the weeks and months following the 2020 presidential election. The correspondence reveals that the network’s senior-most executives and highest-profile hosts chose not to disclose what they believed to be the truth of the election out of fear that that the facts would alienate Fox News’ audience and throw the highly profitable business into ruin.
The messages were contained in a stunning legal filing made public on Thursday as part of Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion lawsuit against Fox News, showing the network’s executives and talk hosts privately trashing lies pushed by former President Donald Trump’s camp and his supporters asserting the 2020 election was rigged.
But, despite privately acknowledging the realiity of the situation, the network allowed the lies to take hold on its air, in large part because executives and hosts were terrified that telling its sizable audience the truth would prompt them to tune out.
After the election, an incensed Trump had attacked Fox News and encouraged his followers to switch to Newsmax, a smaller right-wing talk channel that was saturating its airwaves with election denialism.
Trump was enraged that Fox News was the first network to call the critical swing state of Arizona for now-president Joe Biden. And he couldn’t stand that the network, rightfully, declared Biden as the winner of the presidential contest.
In the days and weeks after the presidential contest had been called, Fox News’ audience listened to Trump and rebelled against the channel. Fox News shed a chunk of its audience while Newsmax gained significant viewership.

I’m surprised CNN even touched this story.
It looks as though some good info is coming out about Dominion’s methods and policies from employees who are telling many stories about the machines ability to “change votes” and “play with the counting of ballots.”
And this was exposed all due to the wonderful ...discovery..that comes with lawsuits.
I didn’t read this whole thing, but it was fun to read the report of employees opening up in the other article.

why can’t we just get real news? everything is controlled and manipulated, mostly by the deep state. We are only allowed information that the gatekeepers allow us to know and that they tell us how to interpret. It’s pretty damn sick.

And then the MIC uses their monopolies to cancel newsmax and OANN by deplatforming them. They won’t even let us compete on a level playing field. Or they cancel infowars from even accessing the means of distribution. It is sick stuff that they are doing.
It actually is happening, but your trust is in Chuck Todd because you is smart.
They are taking a couple of specific situations and extrapolating them and mixing them with other things.
There are a number of components. The ‘Kraken’ is one part, for which evidence was never provided. There are a lot of other things, which were ‘exceptionally odd’ and which require explanation which never came, but are not actual proof of election fraud without further examination. There is the systematic destruction of laws which would secure the election from a variety of fraudulent activities, or at the least would allow them to be detected and demonstrated. There is the conspiracy to stock voting centers with partisan election workers and exclude unallied observers. There is also the entire media/tech conspiracy to rig the information available to voters, in part coordinated by the FBI and other government agencies.
The last are now pretty ironclad.
You’ll see that folks like Tucker, for example, evaluate all of those things differently from one another, while folks like those at the Atlantic attempt to force them all into the same bucket.
Notice the rash of attack stories on Fox News because Don Lemon is about to be hoist on his own petard?

In multiple states, Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin there was this pattern:
Reporting closed early.
Republican observers removed.
Physically impossibly large single batches of ballots early in the morning with in a few days of the election.
After Biden got the lead, sequential batches of ballots wit the same Biden:Trump ratio regardless of batch size.
While this was happening, voters were reported thousands of problems, and courts prevented cases, discovery and evidence entered into the public record.
The news agencies who have statistical models for polling and election night coverage, who hung on every latest word in Florida in 2000, could not be bothered to look at or explain simple ratios in 2020.
