He may be thinking something other than winning. Heck maybe
some extra cash coming his way, increased public awareness,
maybe planing on moving in a couple years, who knows. Just
getting prepared for what ever it is.
It's a good question. It is the product of a socialist welfare society built on top of a long period of prosperity and peace. You stop taking those who lack common sense out of the gene pool and in fact start promoting them to important positions like running the US military or flying airplanes. What worries me is that the nuclear armageddon FJB and his comrades are slouching towards will not discriminate between those who can control their stuppider impulses and those who cannot.
