Michael Cohen, a former personal attorney for Donald Trump, said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that it is “extremely important for Democrats to be able to expose” the weaponization of the Justice Department during the Trump administration.
Former Rep. David Jolly (R-FL) asked, “You said you would love to share with the Biden administration information regarding the weaponization of the federal government. Where were you going with that? What information on the weaponization of government during your years with Donald Trump is relevant?”

How do you weaponize an agency full of democrats?
A few political appointments aren’t going to do squat.
The truth is these types of bureaucracies are already weaponized in favor of partisan democrats who practice lawfare whenever a Republican administration comes to DC.
I am shocked at how the newer crop of republicans are so bold and in your face types. So different from McTurtle, Pierre Delecto, McCain the destroyer of US jet fighters, Bob Dole and the Bush gang.
Trump picked his staff from recommendations by GOP old time politicians, since he was basically unfamiliar with DC politics. Hiring political operations staff is quite different than hiring people in high rise construction and golf resorts. If he is re-elected, I expect similar staff picks.
Hopefully they are not all just blowing smoke, like Trey Gowdy. We need them to actually follow through.
