...On Tuesday night, as senators entered the House chamber before Biden’s speech began, Santos and Romney were seen to speak for about 10 seconds.
Efforts at lipreading spread across the internet. Most thought Romney said “You ought to be embarrassed”, or similar. CNN reported that someone who witnessed the exchange said Romney told Santos: “You don’t belong here.”
Santos continued speaking to Romney as the senator walked away.
After Biden’s speech, in a scrum of reporters, Romney was asked about the exchange. Confirming he said “You don’t belong here,” he added: “He shouldn’t be in Congress.”

He got the votes and meets the Constitutional requirements. As such he had just as much a right to “be there” as Pierre Delecto, who, it should be added, can stuff it.
I believe rather poster was referring to Romney never telling Biden that HE didn’t belong despite all of Biden’s lies, bullying and plagiarizing.
It takes scum like Mitt to make Santos sympathetic.
Mitt is literally everything that is wrong with the Republican establishment.

You gotta kinda admire George Santos, in a manner of speaking, for the way he only just barely shows contrition for his path to elective office, and for the sheer brassy attitude of “So what!”
That aside, he will probably serve the full two years, and if not primaried out, will be subject to one of the most vicious and cutting attacks by Democrat Socialists and the entire spectrum of the media.

I’m a republican . I believe in biblical morals. But is interesting to see one republican adopt democratic values to win. I don’t condone it for we must all ultimately give an actor ourselves.
