I’m not so sure I agree with that.
I do think that this is an example of how the Democrats and the left put on a full offensive effort. Trying to take out a Justice while a Democrat has the ability to nominate the successor. Likewise, I think that the push to eliminate Santos (which would lead to a Democrat holding the seat at least until a special election) is a part of an effort to chip away at the House margin. GOP House members in states with Democratic Governors, especially those with ill health or other vulnerabilities, should be especially careful. These guys play for keeps.
It’s a big nothing burger, just like the brouhaha about Clarence Thomas’s wife.

So what if they argued before the court? She didn’t tell
them what to argue, what cases to take or to refuse.
Justices still had to weigh any information presented
and provide opinions.
This is total nonsense.
The Left is pushing too far. I’m not a big fan of
Roberts, but this tactic of charging everyone assumed
to be a Conservative with trumped up charges needs to
become actionable before some courts.
Those bringing up these cases should be charged with
contempt of court, for trying to abuse the judicial
system for political purposes.
That’s all this is > IMO.
