Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) suggested Thursday that someone might have planted caches of classified documents at President Joe Biden’s private residence and former academic office in an effort to frame him.
Fox News’ Hillary Vaughn (via Chad Pergram) reported:

They know the Republicans are going to impeach Biden, so they’d prefer he be impeached for this instead of his and Hunter’s Ukraine money laundering and corruption. They definitely don’t want to open that can of worms. So yeah I could see the Dems setting him up for this as a deflection from the Ukraine monkey business.
The documents were on the island, and when it tipped over, they blew in the wind to the Biden Residency.
It was Trump’s russian secret spies.
Ultimately Trump planned the operation.
Right along with his plan to ground all aircraft to make biden’s transportation secy look bad.
This from the man who asked a high ranking military officer, at a congressional hearing, was Guam in danger of capsizing due to the weight of our military equipment there.
Anyone who doesn’t understand that islands aren’t floating, but are firmly anchors to the earth, is entirely beneath my notice.

Let’s be fair. Didn’t some in Trump’s inner circle suggest that the FBI might have inserted documents into those that were seized from MAL? I think even his attorney’s said it?
This was predictable.
My problem with people who said this about Trump was that it was ridiculous because it did not matter. Trump could have legally taken whatever document he wanted and it was “declassified” and there was a prior legal analysis of this within DOJ and a Judge had said that any President had this authority (Judicial Watch lawsuit).
There mere act of taking or ordering a document to be removed from the WH is “declassification”. All others go to the archives and Trump/Obama or their designated representative with a security clearance can access them there (like Sandy Burglar).
It is ridiculous either way, but I don’t want to be a hypocrite about it. Break out the popcorn and hold onto a fixed object because the spin cycle is on high!
Yeah, that’s the narrative they’re running with today.
Because we all know that “republicans” have unfettered access to all Biden’s properties and libraries.

It would be, but as nobody would notice docs missing, like you said, wouldn’t draw attention. For that matter they could take pic’s of documents and load onto a flash drive or save on a personal cloud or many other ways new and advanced technology would be more suitable and draw less attention.
It is curious, I wonder what the end game is as they’ve made the issue bipartisan with Trump and Biden.
Why are we still storing classified docs in cardboard boxes in restaurants, car lots, closets and garages? It makes zero sense.
Looks like somebody does.
