The robber, believed to be in his 20s, entered Ranchito #4 Taqueria in southwest Houston on Thursday night wearing a black ski mask and gloves before ambushing 10 customers and demanding their money at gunpoint.
Footage shows the shouting man wave what is believed to be a pistol around the restaurant, while customers drop to the ground and hand over their belongings.
But as the man headed towards the door, one of the patrons - described by police as either white or Hispanic - produced his own gun and shot the robber.
He fired nine times - one of which was in the head - causing him to collapse to the ground. The customer, wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans, then collected the stolen money and cellphones and started handing it back to the people they were taken from.

The guy had no idea if the robber was leaving, going to make another go-around all the tables for even more loot or was fixing to execute everyone in the joint. There was no way know for sure what that moron was gonna do.
He took tactical advantage that the “fake-armed” assailant wasn’t looking...can’t say as I blame him.

Shooter is possibly Hispanic, according to the story (unless they always say that in Texas.) Hispanics are only POC when it serves someone’s narrative, so yes - I guess he’s going to be White.
If the robber had made it to the door, he might have turned and fired away. Also, his buddy standing outside, might have opened up if the robber was just wounded. One just doesn’t know what an armed robber will do.
All the customers are suffering PTSD. Some of their statements are:

That’s “escape persecution”... juat sayin.....
If I were on that jury, I would support an acquittal or a "no bill". And I would also support legal sanctions against the DA who would be stupid enough to attempt a prosecution.
The "criminal justice" system is not protecting us. The people running the system have no intention of protecting us. That problem must be corrected.
